Busy independent garage specialising in Land Rover, VW Group, BMW,Merc and other prestige vehicles is looking for a dependable, experienced Motor Vehicle Technician to join our team.
This role is ideal for an experienced technician from either a main dealer or independent garage who wants a better work-life balance and varied, hands-on mechanical work.
Hours
Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm
Saturday overtime available (optional)
Closed between Christmas & New Year
The Role
You will carry out a wide range of mechanical repairs and servicing to a high standard, including:
Routine servicing & maintenance
Brakes, suspension & steering work
Clutches & timing belts/chains
Engine & turbo repairs
Vehicle health checks
Basic diagnostics required. Advanced diagnostic work available for the right candidate, including ECU programming/remapping and DPF/AdBlue system diagnosis and repair
Mot testing (MOT licence not essential - training can be provided for the right candidate)

Experienced technician able to work independently
Confident carrying out servicing and mechanical repairs to a high standard
Produces neat, accurate work with attention to detail
Reliable, professional and takes pride in the job
Able to manage workload and complete jobs efficiently
Main dealer or independent experience welcome
