    Working in the heart of the depot the Labourer/Driver will be responsible for keeping all areas clean and tidy day in day out, and ensuring that any equipment leaving the depot has been checked and maintained to the highest standards. You will also ensure timeous professional delivery and collection of Pump & Power Equipment to and from GAP Group customers.

    The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of working in a similar environment, driving responsibly and safely within the law at all times. About You Successful applicants should demonstrate the following:

    • Previous experience working within a similar role, preferably within a hire depot or yard environment
    • Forklift Licence would be highly beneficial
    • An understanding of Health & Safety protocols and the ability to follow these guidelines in the workplace

    What You'll Be Doing:

    Reporting directly to the Technical Sales Manager, the Technical Sales Representative (TSR) will be responsible for maximising Survey hire revenue opportunities from existing major account customer and winning new business. This will include delivering sales presentations to our major account customers at a senior management level and attending depot/customer trade days to promote our product offering.

    The TSR will also work with various stakeholders across the GAP Group network including Regional Sales Managers and their sales teams, to ensure pro-active promotion of hire opportunities for Survey equipment within their existing customer base.

    PLEASE NOTE - this role will cover sites within the South West Region and therefore the successful candidate should be available for regular travel. About You What We're Looking For:

    As the first point of contact at our depots, Hire & Sales Coordinators (HSC) play a pivotal role in driving our business' success, by building strong customer relationships, understanding their hire needs and ensuring we can meet them. The Mobile Hire & Sales Coordinator will provide holiday, absence and staff shortage cover at depots within Scotland and cover in the absence of the depot General Managers. This is a challenging, fast paced and rewarding role that provides a fantastic platform to grow and progress within GAP Group.

    A typical day for a Regional Hire & Sales Coordinator will include:

    • Processing all hire desk administration including customer and supplier queries
    • Managing approx. 40-50 incoming and outgoing hires per day

    • Load checking vehicles and working effectively with the depot team of drivers and fitters

    As a Regional Generator Engineer you will play a pivotal role in the success of the region by ensuring that our customers can hire what they want, when they need it through the efficient servicing and maintaining a variety of Power services & equipment up to 500KVA within the GAP fleet.
    As part of our high-performing regional team, you will be responsible for traveling across our customer sites to identify and repair any faults or damage to equipment including Stage V Generators, AMF/MDU and Distribution & Cable, whilst accurately updating service records.
