    RickmansworthIf you’re a proper Senior QS who’s comfortable running your own work on live civils jobs – this one’s worth a look.We’re working with a major civil engineering contractor delivering infrastructure schemes in the £200k–£10m+ range. This is a hands-on role, not a clipboard exercise. You’ll be embedded with the project team, keeping the commercial side tight while work gets delivered on site.No fluff. No nonsense. Just solid commercial delivery. What you’ll actually be doing You’ll own the day-to-day commercial management of the project(s), including: Cost control, forecasting and cashflow Monthly CVRs and commercial reporting Applications for payment and cash recovery Subcontract procurement, negotiation and account management Managing change, variations and claims through to agreement Supporting site teams with commercial decisions and risk management Keeping contracts compliant and commercially protected You’ll be trusted to run your own workload, deal with clients and supply chain, and spot opportunities before they turn into problems.
