Sub Agent – Infrastructure - Ipswich Location – Ipswich, Suffolk  Purpose of the role: As a Sub Agent based on our brand new £m+ major highways project in the Ipswich area, you will assist the Site Agent and Project Manager in order to successfully deliver the works.  We are looking for two Sub Agents to look after the Roadworks and Structures packages respectively so a background in these areas is ideal but general highways or civil engineering experience will be considered.  You will be expected to achieve the required project delivery, in line with the customer’s objectives while maintaining high standards of health and safety, quality, environmental impact and cost control. Site Engineer – Infrastructure - Leiston, Suffolk Location – Leiston, Suffolk  Purpose of the role: As a Site Engineer based on our brand new £m major highways project in Leiston, part of the new Sizewell C development, you will work closely with the Senior Engineer and wider site team to provide setting out and engineering control on site.  Key packages will be structures, roads and earthworks but general highways / infrastructure / civils experience will be considered.  What you will be doing: Create and maintain a safe working environment. Coordinate site engineering activities, including information sharing with operatives and subcontractors. Complete daily diary sheets and provide required photographic evidence. Perform material reconciliations and ensure accurate records. Calibrate surveying equipment and conduct as-built surveys. Produce D & D site sketches and assist in maintaining quality records. Assist in basic planning, mentoring junior engineers, waste control, and introducing new processes. About you: Work safely and interpret data and drawings accurately. Proficient in standard setting out techniques, including Level, EDM, and GPS. Flexible work attitude with strong problem-solving skills. HND or degree, with relevant CSCS card and experience. Role – Electrical Project Engineer Location – Southampton Purpose of the role: An opportunity has arisen for an Electrical Project Engineer to join the team at Galliford Try within our Environment Business. You will become a key member of a team successfully delivering schemes of varying sizes predominately to the Water Industry in sewage and clean water. Reporting to the Project Manager, you will work alongside the project delivery team to ensure the design, procurement, financial control and site activities are achieved.  Key Responsibilities: Outline engineering from inception to completion of schemes utilising in-house resources, site installation and construction personnel. Delivery of water Non Infra M&E Projects. Design Management and Liaison. Early site investigation works in coordination with the client, design and project team Production and review of health and safety documentation (risk assessments & method statements / Project management plans).
