If speculative CVs are sent, no fee will be applicable – please direct all queries to the relevant Resourcing Partner.Sub Agent – Infrastructure - IpswichLocation – Ipswich, Suffolk Purpose of the role:As a Sub Agent based on our brand new £m+ major highways project in the Ipswich area, you will assist the Site Agent and Project Manager in order to successfully deliver the works. We are looking for two Sub Agents to look after the Roadworks and Structures packages respectively so a background in these areas is ideal but general highways or civil engineering experience will be considered. You will be expected to achieve the required project delivery, in line with the customer’s objectives while maintaining high standards of health and safety, quality, environmental impact and cost control.What you will be doing:General Site Management including producing and managing the programme and supervising the successful delivery of itEnsuring day to day compliance of Health, Safety, Environment and Quality, in line with company procedures and legal obligationsEnsuring that site diaries and all other records are kept up to dateMonthly and weekly reportingMaintaining key relationships with stakeholders and subcontractors Day to day management of a section of works including the supervision & monitoring of the site team & supply chainProgress and performance reporting to the Project Manager Ensure Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS), Permit to Work systems, site inductions and safety briefings are correctly carried outEnsure that daily, weekly, and monthly inspections are carried out and that all audits and reports are produced Ensure that the QA file is produced and maintained What We Can Offer in Return:

The Senior Site Engineer will initially work on Black Esk WTW and other high value Scottish water projects across the Scottish Borders.What you will be doing: Promote exceptional safety and deliver quality standards at all timeCo-ordinate and control construction activities ensuring the project runs to schedule and budgetDay to Day management of site activities, including supervising and monitoring the site operations and carrying out briefings as necessary, preparing RAMS and ensuring complianceEnsuring plant and materials are ordered and supplied as requiredChecking drawings and quantities, ensuring that the information is accurate for the workMaintain good client relationships at all levels.Comply with Customer Impact Plan at all times.Maintain and enhance ESD’s reputation at all levelsEnsuring that the BMS is implemented at all stagesEnsuring that activities are planned, organised and monitored to ensure safety, time constraints and quality requirements are met.Ensuring that all site non-conformities are reported and resolvedEnsure all cost aspects are managed proactively and controls are in placeUndertake such other duties, training and/or hours of work as may be reasonably required and which are consistent with the general level of responsibility of this roleTake all reasonable steps to ensure appropriate confidentiality.About You:HND or equivalent in engineering/project management related qualificationExperience of the construction/engineering industry, ideally in the water industryTrack record of delivering within agreed parametersIOSH or SMSTS Safety ManagementCSCS CardExcellent IT skillsExcellent verbal and communication skillsWhat We Can Offer in Return:
