    The Subscriptions Marketing team are responsible for all direct-to-consumer marketing, promoting Future's portfolio of print and digital specialist titles to both existing and potential customers. The overall objective of the team is to sustainably increase subscription revenues through optimised marketing campaigns via a variety of online and offline channels.What you'll be doingReporting to the Senior Marketing Manager, the Marketing Manager will operate in a strategic capacity. You will devise and deliver an effective plan that owns and drives decision-marketing for designated vertical acquisition performance, marketing trends, customer behaviours, pricing, previous performance, positioning, and CPA.You will prioritise and co-ordinate workload effectively for yourself and your reports.     What you'll be doingReporting to the Editor in Chief (Video & Social Media, Music), you'll transform our brands' approach to social media. Working with the Content Director, the editorial teams of our magazines and websites, and plugged in to our Social Media team, you’ll play a role in developing and delivering social media strategies, and growing and engaging audiences, for our world-leading music brands. You'll shoot, edit and deliver social-first content across a variety of platforms and ensure that it meets brand guidelines and delivers commercial opportunities. You'll also work to maximise the potential of every single story we tell using social media, exploring new storytelling formats, and shooting, editing and distributing video.As a music fan and a musician, you'll help build communities using social media. Creating and editing video, creating engaging posts, amplifying our content, replying to comments, listening to feedback, changing our relationship with the audience from one of “broadcast” (just firing links at the social audience) to something more organic and responsive. After all, we are the audience.Work with print and online teams to produce top-quality written, graphic and video content for multiple brands – both lifestyle and music-making – to be distributed across our social media channels. Help manage YouTube and all social channels, working with the Social media team to establish and instil best practice and work with the wider team to ensure all content we produce has a social media angle. You'll be creating and helping with YouTube thumbnails, Instagram carousel posts, engagement graphics, vertical video edits (for YT Shorts, Insta and TikTok). You'll write punchy copy for descriptions, create video titles, and more, and talk to the audience in a language they recognise: understanding what they want, and the differing needs of a ‘music-making’ audience compared to a music-listening one.Experience that will put you ahead of the curveA proven track record and a resume packed with examples of your experience making social media content and growing an audience. Ability to edit and shoot video with style and flair and a sense of storytellingExperience in camera operation, with an eye for good set design and composition, and the ability to coach and direct on-screen talent.Previous writing, scripting and editing experience. The ability to write engaging copy and compelling headlines. An insightful understanding of the world of music and, in particular, music-making.
