furlong street garage is a well established garage with high volume of work flow . we moved into our larger purpose built work shop in sept 2019 and due to the increase in work we are looking for mechanics and mot testers on cars ,class 7 and also motorcycles,
We are offering a basic salary between £34,000 and £39,500 depending on skills and experience. This is based on a 40 hour working week with no weekends and an additional over-performance bonus opportunity.

Job description
Vehicle Technician/MOT Tester, the successful applicant will be required to undertake all aspects of vehicle service, maintenance, and repair.workshop house keeping
if you have a full motorcycle licence and would we can offer MOT training for class 2
General duties to include;
Vehicle Inspections and reports
Must have A relevant formal qualification in Automotive City & Guilds / NVQ Level 3
General Servicing/Repairs/cam belts/ diagnostics
Correction/repair of vehicle defects
MOT Preparation / Presentation
Completion of all required job cards and reports
Confident in all aspects of vehicle maintenance ,diagnostic and fault repair , you'll have a good approach to customer service
To follow through repairs from diagnosis to finished repair
Good house keeping of your workspace & workshop
A valid class 4, and 7 MOT testing licence preferred, but training can be provided for the right applicant,
A valid class 2 MOT testing licence would be advantageous
A full UK driving licence and own hand tools .
