    You will be carrying out day-to-day activities of the site; to assist in the delivery of high standards of safety, quality and operations whilst being a part of a team that operates with integrity and accountability while delivering a high standard of customer service.

    About You
    Good communicator with the ability to consult with all team members and site management team
    Able to work under pressure and to deadlines whilst maintaining Frontier’s ICE values
    Adapts quickly and successfully to accommodate changing business and customer needs, whilst providing a responsive customer focussed service
    Works to accommodate the seasonal nature of Frontier’s business
    Adopts a customer first mindset while ensuring that compliance is maintained at all times that where relevant all internal procedures are adhered to at all times
    The ability to work collaboratively with others and to work independently at times without supervision
    Workshop/Mechanical skills (desirable but not essential)
    Loading shovel license (desirable but not essential)
    Tele-handler / FLT license (desirable but not essential)
    Training will be provided for the right candidate
    Your Role
    As a Site Operative your role will involve:Assisting Site Management with all aspects of Grain Storage OperationsAssisting Site Management to comply with Health, Safety and Quality procedures including keeping records to ensure complianceWorking to customer requirements regarding drying, cleaning and storage operations in order to produce desired levels of quality and serviceEnsuring general housekeeping and hygiene of the site is maintainedEnsuring the stores, plant and equipment are maintained to a high standardAssisting within the grain testing lab/weighbridge

    We are looking for a Soil Technician to join the Frontier Precision Services team, based in the Scottish Borders and covering the Northeast region across to Cumbria, on a full-time, permanent basis. You will be carrying out soil sampling and associated in-field services for our farmer clients around the region using an ATV and GPS technology. Often working alone, you will be self-motivated, organised and have previous experience involving customer-facing activities (this is desirable but not essential as all training will be given to ensure we provide a professional and safe service to customers).
