    Job Description
    This is a 12 month Placement Year as part of your university course, with a start date of Summer 2026
    The Role:
    Working alongside other Junior Accountants and reporting into a supervisor the placement will give you exposure to different areas within Finance: Management accounts, FP&A and Group Reporting Put your analytical skills to the test; gathering data and finding out the exact trend that can be acted upon to reduce costs and/or improve efficiency of a business operation You will be involved in understanding and improving cost reporting through departments to provide further insight and support a business unit in their decision-making process Supporting an area of the group’s financial forecasting and budgeting activities Processing accounting entries and numerous recharges within our UK Group subsidiaries ensuring completion of month-end processes within the required deadlines Analysing/posting prepayments and accruals with the result of reconciling the balance sheet Ad-hoc project analysis to support any significant investments or business acquisitions
    Qualifications
    Currently completing an Accounting + Finance or similar relevant Degree. Able to complete this Placement as a sandwich year in your studies Future ambitions of completing one of ACCA/CIMA (study support provided) Able to throw yourself in at the deep end and thrive in a fast paced, commercial environment Hard working and willingness to learn is essential Collaborative approach to work, always take the team with you and able to build relationships with colleagues at all levels of an organisation Able to be based at our Shirebrook HQ for the duration of the placement year

    Job Description
    We’re looking for a talented Backend Software Engineer to join our agile, delivery-focused, and highly motivated team. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the development of our cutting-edge MACH-based digital platform (Microservices, API-first, Cloud-Native, and Headless), which powers over 50 websites and Mobile Applications—including some of the biggest names in retail.

    Key Responsibilities
    Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and deliver robust backend services. Build scalable microservices using TypeScript and Node.js, ensuring high performance and reliability. Design and maintain GraphQL and REST APIs for seamless integration. Implement technical integrations with external systems (e.g., headless CMS, e-commerce platforms, payment providers). Translate business requirements into technical architecture, documentation, and implementation. Contribute to team success by supporting teammates, providing feedback, and sharing expertise. Advocate for and implement internal standards to ensure maintainability, scalability, and high code quality.     Qualifications

    Proven experience with -

    Desirable Skills

    Job Description
    We are seeking a talented Software Engineer to join our team as we embark on an exciting transformational journey. You will play a key role in the delivery of our Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O WMS Project, revolutionizing Warehousing & Fulfilment at Frasers.
    As a Software Engineer aligned to our Warehouse Development pillar, you’ll find yourself at the heart of a fast-paced, ambitious team where problem solving and creativity are at the core of what we do. In this role you’ll play a crucial part in designing, developing and implementing Dynamics 365 F&O solutions that power and integrate with our large-scale multi-million-pound automated logistics operation as well as our ERP/OMS/Back Office Systems.
    We offer a flexible hybrid working arrangement, with 2 days working from home and 3 days in our Shirebrook (Nottinghamshire) office. Please note that you must have the right to work in the UK.
    Your primary responsibilities as a Software Engineer will be:
    Configure and customize Dynamics F&O modules relevant to Supply Chain Management & Retail. Develop custom solutions within Dynamics F&O using X++ / C# to integrate with other business systems. Develop applications/integrations based upon modern technologies such as Azure, Power Platform & Fabric. Design and extend functionality built upon relational databases (SQL Server/Oracle) as well as NoSQL (Cosmos DB). Create and maintain technical documentation such as design specifications and end-user documents. Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and alignment with team standards Stay current with emerging capabilities in the Dynamics 365 platform to ensure we’re building the right solutions and existing functionality evolves to leverage new functionality. Support existing business critical systems whilst we transition to our new platform and build integrations to maintain key supporting functionality.
    Qualifications
    Key Skills
    2+ years’ experience working with and developing solutions in a modern software engineering environment Strong foundational knowledge and background developing with C# Good knowledge of building solutions with Azure, including using Azure Functions, Blob Storage, Event Grid Experience working with Microsoft SQL Server 2012+ / T-SQL & Stored Procedures. Exposure to event-driven architectures and caching solutions such as Redis. Exposure to modern engineering principles such as microservices and event driven technologies. Good communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly. Natural problem solver, able to use your own initiative and find creative solutions to complex problems. Experience with agile methodologies and tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, or Trello. Desirable Skills
    Experience working with and developing solutions on a modern WMS would be highly advantageous Experience to Dynamics 365 F&O along with development of X++ customisations Experience working with modern CI/CD tooling such as GitHub Actions or Azure DevOps Pipelines.     Job Description
    At FGFS, we are constantly evolving to meet our customers’ needs and we now have opportunities for Collections Advisors, based in Clayton-le-Moors, Accrington.
    Our Collections Advisors are responsible for reviewing accounts and contacting customers across multi channels (Web chat, email and telephony) who have missed payments to talk them through the different financial options that are available to them.
    As a Collections Advisor, you will build rapport with our customers, going the extra mile to ensure empathy and compassion is portrayed in a professional manner. Speaking with customers to understand their situation, you will offer support to help minimise their arrears and help them get back on track with their payments. Our Collections Advisors work within our company and regulatory guidelines to maintain high standards and to provide the best possible outcome and experience for our customers.
    As you gain experience in the role you will become multi skilled in each element of our contact centre operation
    Hours of work
    40 hours per week on a 4 weekly rota basis.
    Shifts between 8am - 8pm including weekends.

    Qualifications
    Experience of working within a Financial Service or Customer Service environment would be beneficial but not essential Ability to deliver in a fast-paced target driven environment Excellent communication skills both written and verbal Ability to listen and build rapport quickly and effectively Ability to remain calm and professional at all times High attention to detail Self-motivated and able to work as part of a team IT literate
