    Job Description

    We are seeking a senior Product Lead – MarTech and Data to define and lead the strategy, delivery, and evolution of enterprise data and marketing technology capabilities. This role is accountable for building scalable, compliant, and high-impact data products that underpin omnichannel customer experiences across B2C and B2B channels. Operating within a complex, multi-brand, MACH-based environment, the role owns customer, marketing, operational, and AI-enabled data platforms that support personalisation, experimentation, retail media, and commercial decision-making. The Product Lead will partner closely with Technology, Marketing, Analytics, Architecture and cross-functional leadership to ensure data and MarTech investments are aligned to enterprise strategy, measurable business outcomes, and long-term platform sustainability. This role also carries people leadership accountability, including the management and development of Product Owners across cross-functional squads, driving a shift toward product-led delivery, and embedding strong governance through clear roadmaps, OKRs, and performance measures. Key Responsibilities. Product Strategy & Vision: Define and own the enterprise vision, strategy, and roadmap for Data and MarTech platforms, ensuring alignment with group strategy, commercial priorities, and long-term scalability. Customer Data & Single Customer View: Lead the development and evolution of Customer Data Platform and Single Customer View capabilities across web, app, in-store, and all touchpoints and channels. Retail Marketing & Media Platforms: Own marketing and retail media data foundations, including onsite and offsite media enablement, attribution, audience creation and supporting closed-loop measurement. Customer Experience & Personalisation: Enable data-driven personalisation, recommendations, and experimentation across retail touchpoints to improve conversion, basket size, frequency, and retention. Digital Operations Data in Retail: Strong experience and understanding of Product, Inventory, Categories, Orders and Brands Data for powering Web, App, Al and Cross-Channel experiences. AI-Enabled Retail Capabilities: Enable AI-powered data products that support intelligent decisioning, content generation, recommendations, and agent-led commerce use cases embedded within multi-channel and marketing workflows. Platform Architecture & Integrations: Collaborate with Technology and Architecture to ensure Data and MarTech platforms align to MACH-based architectural principles and support scalable, resilient integrations across a large multi-brand ecosystem. Data Privacy & Compliance: Embed privacy, consent management, security, and regulatory compliance into all data products by design, working closely with Legal, Security, and Governance teams. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with Product, Marketing, Digital, Technology, Architecture, UX, Analytics, and Trade / Commercial teams to align priorities, manage dependencies, and deliver integrated outcomes. Stakeholder Management: Engage senior business and group leadership to prioritise initiatives, manage trade-offs, and ensure transparency on progress, risks, and valuable outcomes. Product Delivery & Ways of Working: Drive product-led, Agile delivery models across squads, ensuring consistent execution, clear accountability, and outcome-focused value delivery. People Leadership & Capability Development: Lead, mentor, and develop Product Owners, building strong Data and MarTech product capability, including hiring, performance management, and capability uplift. Performance Measurement & Value Realisation: Define, track, and report on OKRs, KPIs, and success metrics to ensure accountability, value realisation, and continuous improvement. Partner & Vendor Management: Manage strategic Data, MarTech, and Retail Media partners to ensure effective delivery, innovation, and value optimisation across the ecosystem. 
    Qualifications

    Education: Bachelor's degree in Technology, Engineering, Data, Business, or a related discipline; postgraduate or executive education is advantageous. Product Leadership Experience: Extensive experience leading Data, MarTech, or platform products within large, complex, enterprise environments, ideally within Retail Domain Expertise: Strong understanding of retail customer journeys spanning web, app, in-store, POS, loyalty, fulfilment, and customer service environments. Solid experience with Customer Data Platforms, Marketing Technology, Personalisation, Experimentation, Attribution, and Omnichannel data ecosystems.  Technical Acumen: Solid understanding of modern data architectures, integrations, and MACH-based ecosystems, with the ability to partner effectively with Engineering and Architecture teams. AI Product Delivery: Experience delivering AI-enabled products in collaboration with cross-functional teams, with a focus on practical, scalable business use cases. People Leadership: Demonstrated experience managing and developing Product Managers or Product Owners, including hiring, performance management, and capability uplift. Strategic & Commercial Mindset: Proven ability to align product strategy to enterprise objectives, commercial outcomes, and customer value. Stakeholder Influence: Strong track record of influencing senior stakeholders and executives, balancing competing priorities and driving alignment across functions. Governance & Risk Management: Experience building strong governance, data privacy, security, and compliance requirements. Ways of Working: Practical experience with Agile and product-led delivery models at enterprise scale, including defining and tracking OKRs and outcome-based metrics. Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, actionable business narratives.
