Job Description
We are looking for a PR Manager to be responsible for developing and implementing our Group corporate PR strategy. The role will report into the Head of PR and will be based in London.Be responsible for delivering an effective PR strategy for Frasers GroupWork with our Head of PR to develop messaging for external communications and support the delivery of any corporate business announcements effectivelyDrive and support the development and delivery of press releases and external facing statementsConfidently manage incoming enquiries from business and retail pressWith the communications team, deliver and execute for key business milestones including Company ResultsSupport with the management of the Group’s Communications Calendar and actively seek new opportunities for executive teamWork collaboratively with all relevant stakeholders to ensure there is an efficient flow of information across the organisationWork alongside the People team to align internal and external communications plansDevelop long-term communication strategies with external corporate PR advisorsManage and support Group PR AssistantMonitor and report on social, economic and political trendsHave an established network of journalists and industry peers
Qualifications
A minimum of 3-4 years’ experience in PR and CommunicationsAbility to strategise and think about the larger business imageExperience working in a large retail organisation is preferable, but not essentialExperience supporting a business’ financial results is preferableEffective communication skills with excellent use of written English and attention to detailIn-depth knowledge of PR channels, newspapers and TV networksStrong organisational skills, time management, the ability to prioritise, be flexible and multitaskA business-minded individual with an understanding of retail, corporate branding, and communications

Shortlisted applicants may be asked to confirm a few key details before being booked in for a first stage interview with the Recruiter- this will be behaviourally focussed and centred around how you align with our Culture and Values. If successful we anticipate two further interview stages with the Hiring Manager/wider team which will be more technically focussed and could include a presentation/task so we can see your skills in action.
