The position will be based in Farnborough, UK. Fluor’s office in Farnborough, Hampshire is one of the company’s main execution centers undertaking projects across Europe, Africa, the Middle East, and Central Asia. Farnborough itself has excellent transport links and is located 35 minutes from London via train. You will be part of the PDS, that is a global team of subject matter experts, process architects, process, and equipment engineers within the Advanced Technology & Life Sciences Division of Fluor. Our team serves the life sciences, advanced manufacturing, semiconductor, data center and battery manufacturing industries. It delivers as many as fifty projects per year. **Basic Job Requirements** The essential job duties for this position are as follows: •Lead process design activities to support Life Sciences, Advanced Manufacturing, and Advanced Technologies projects. •Provide engineering and technical support for complex projects, acting as the main interface with clients, discipline engineers, and management. •Develop process flow and integrated equipment diagrams to aid in the preparation of facility general arrangements. •Work closely with the architectural team to arrange and size equipment to meet the needs of the client’s process. •Analyze design challenges, evaluate options and recommend solutions. •Support business development efforts to secure new projects for the PDS. •Plan and execute process tasks per contract requirements. •Support estimating activities and equipment pricing. •Support the development of proposals. •Share advanced chemical engineering practices and strategies within Fluor. •Maintain contact with external consultants and organizations for specialized services. •Mentor and train Fluor process engineers. **Other Job Requirements** •The ability to communicate effectively with audiences that include management, coworkers, clients, vendors, contractors, and other stakeholders. •Demonstrate an elevated level of technical knowledge in one or more of the manufacturing sectors served by ATLS. •Analytical approach to problem solving and identifying potential solutions. •Technical and business writing skills •Basic understanding of design, engineering, procurement, equipment design, construction, commissioning, start up, turnover work processes, sequencing, and interfaces. •Ability to resolve problems and to be comfortable in complex projects or business environments. •Ability to travel periodically to other Fluor offices or client locations in support of projects or routine business needs. •Experience in leading complex process design projects for one or more of the industry segments PDS serves. •Regulatory experience and networking with industry organizations contemporaries and client culture. •Experience collaborating with multi-discipline project teams and understanding of scope requirements at the different project design phases. **Preferred Qualifications** **To be Considered Candidates:** Must be authorized to work in the country where the position is located. Your Role and Responsibilities As the Custodial Team Lead, you will oversee the daily operations of the custodial team and ensure all tasks are completed to the highest standard. This is a full-time, 40-hour per week position, Monday through Friday, with occasional, pre-scheduled evening or weekend work for deep cleaning projects. Leadership & Administrative Duties + Lead, mentor, and motivate the custodial team, ensuring a high level of performance and team morale. + Manage inventory of cleaning chemicals and supplies, including tracking stock and placing orders. + Plan and schedule routine and deep-cleaning maintenance activities based on facility requirements. + Ensure the team's adherence to all FLUOR and site-specific safety, security, and operational protocols. + Prepare and deliver reports on team activities, status, and performance to the O&M Manager. + Occasionally act as a security monitor for uncleared visiting personnel. Core Custodial & Maintenance Duties + Oversee and participate in the cleaning of all facility areas, including offices, stairs, lifts, and restrooms. + Perform periodic deep cleaning tasks, such as carpet shampooing and floor stripping/polishing, using specialized equipment. + Ensure all toilet facilities are cleaned, sanitized, and fully stocked with consumables. + Conduct sanitization of high-touch surfaces, including tables, door handles, and drinking fountains. + Manage the disposal of office waste and recycling in the designated outdoor containers. **Basic Job Requirements** Essential Requirements + UK Citizenship is mandatory for this role. + The ability to obtain and maintain a Developed Vetting (DV) security clearance.
