  We have an amazing opportunity for Drivers for night shifts with a possibility to gain your HGV license. Who we areFirst Mile are London’s leading recycling service, helping collect refuse from over 30,000 locations across the city. We need amazing and efficient drivers with a great attitude and customer service to collect from our clients.What you will doIf you are a professional driver you should look no further. Whilst working as a Collection Driver driving our vehicles, you will be collecting refuse bags from our clients. Your day will start from our North Acton depot where you will pick up your vehicle. You will then be given a round of collections and, using our new App, choose the most efficient routes. At the end of your shift, you will return to the depot and finish for the night. The shift pattern for this role is:- 5 days working, 2 days off (PM) on a continuing rota. Night shifts start between 6pm-8pm depending on route, 9 hours per shift.Requirements Cat. B UK driving license Clean UK driving license Experience of driving in a city, preferably London Right to work in the UK Proficient level of English Benefits Sponsorship to gain your HGV license whilst you work 28 days annual leave (this includes bank holiday allowance) Quarterly bonuses Driver of the quarter bonus (best drivers receive additional prizes) A £40 a month allowance to spend on you.   Job Opportunity: HGV / CAT C Drivers for Night Shifts in North ActonAre you a professional Class 2 driver looking for a rewarding role which is making a real difference? We are currently looking for a dedicated HGV Class 2 driver to join our driving team. We are looking for a hard working driver with a passion for excellent customer service and creating a force for good. If this sounds like you, then this role is perfect!Responsibilities:- Starting and finishing your shift from our Operations Depot in North Acton
  - Driving our Class 2 vehicles around the city safely and professionally
  - Using our innovative app to follow the most efficient routes and mark off customer collections, making your round as smooth and easy to complete as possible
  - Collecting refuse bags and bins of various weights from clients.- Effectively communicating any issues on your round in a timely manner
  - Returning to the depot at the end of your shift.Shift Pattern- This role operates on a 4 days on, 2 days off continuous shift pattern.- Rounds typically start between 6pm and 8pm depending on the round you are assigned- Each shift is 10 hours of work, plus a 45 minute unpaid break- Overtime is available and is paid at your standard hourly rate based on your salaryRequirements- A valid Cat. C UK driving license.
  - A UK driving license with no more than 6 points
  - Experience driving in a city, preferably London.
