We are seeking a highly capable and personable Solutions Architect to design, develop, and implement scalable technology solutions across the business. This role requires someone who can confidently engage with all departments—from Sales through to Fabrication and operational depots—to understand requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions.
You will act as a bridge between business teams and technical developers, ensuring that designs are practical, implementable, and aligned with business goals. Experience leveraging AI tools to reduce administrative workloads and improve efficiency is highly valued.
Responsibilities:Design and deliver end-to-end solution architectures aligned with business needsWork closely with various departments including Sales, Fabrication, Operations, and Depot teamsGather and translate business requirements into technical specifications and implementable designsStrong knowledge of enterprise computer systems, networks, and integrationsDesign, implement, and optimise cloud-based solutions (AWS preferred)Build and support CI/CD pipelines for automated, efficient deliveryLeverage AI tools to mitigate administrative time and enhance productivityEnsure solutions are scalable, secure, and aligned with best practicesHandover key designs, diagrams, and specifications clearly to development teamsCollaborate with IT, engineering, and third-party vendors where requiredProvide technical leadership and guidance throughout project lifecyclesSupport continuous improvement across systems, infrastructure, and processes
Proven experience as a Solutions Architect, Systems Architect, or similar role Strong knowledge of computer systems, networks, and enterprise architectures Hands-on experience with cloud platforms, particularly AWS Experience building and managing CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps) Experience using AI tools to automate admin tasks and improve efficiency Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders Experience creating implementable designs and handing over to development teams Comfortable working across multiple departments and business functions Familiarity with manufacturing, engineering, or operational environments is a plus
