    Reporting to: Operational ManagerImproving lives in OldhamFirst Choice Homes Oldham (FCHO) has an exciting opportunity for a Skilled Labourer to join our teams and play a key role in maintaining safe, clean and well cared for homes for our residents. This is a predominantly site based role, where you will carry out a range of labouring, clearance and minor maintenance works across our housing stock and associated buildings, supporting property safety, compliance and high quality service delivery.The impact you’ll makeYou’ll play a vital role in keeping our homes and communities safe, clean and well maintained. Working across occupied and void properties, you’ll help ensure customers live in homes they can feel proud of, while supporting our teams to deliver high quality services every day.You’ll be part of a team that takes pride in doing the right thing, working safely and treating customers with respect.What you’ll be doingYou’ll carry out a range of labouring, clearance and minor maintenance works across FCHO properties and partner contracts, including:Damp and mould washes and treatments Minor repairs, clearance and cleaning works inside and outside propertiesGroundworks such as paving, fencing repairs and basic brickwork patchingKitchen and bathroom rip outs, leaving areas clean and ready for follow on worksGarden maintenance and external clearanceSafe removal of waste and securing void propertiesYou’ll also:Drive and maintain service vehicles, tools and equipment Report repairs, defects and health and safety concerns promptly Support removals and deliveries for furnished tenanciesWork in line with health and safety, safeguarding and equality policies at all times Attend training and work closely with colleagues to complete work safely and to standardWork flexibly, including weekends when requiredWhat we’re looking forWe’re looking for someone who is practical, reliable and comfortable working in customers’ homes, with a strong focus on safety and teamwork.You’ll need: Experience in construction or a building tradeExperience working in domestic properties Knowledge of manual handling, waste removal and health and safety practicesThe ability to carry out cleaning and minor maintenance tasksGood communication skills and a respectful approach to customersThe ability to work independently and as part of a teamA full clean UK driving licence UKATA Asbestos Awareness or willingness to complete this before starting

    Improving lives in Oldham First Choice Homes Oldham (FCHO) has an exciting opportunity for a Management Accountant – Development to join our Finance team and play a key role in supporting the financial management of our development programme. This role sits at the heart of our ambitious plans to invest in new homes and communities across Oldham. You will provide financial insight, analysis and reporting that supports strong decision making, robust financial governance and regulatory compliance. Working closely with the Finance Business Partner and Development teams, you will contribute to the delivery of high-quality financial information and help ensure our development activity is financially sustainable and well managed. The impact you’ll make You’ll play an important role in helping FCHO deliver new homes and improve lives in Oldham. By producing accurate management accounts, forecasts and financial analysis, you will help provide the financial insight needed to support strategic investment decisions and ensure our development programme is delivered effectively and responsibly. What you’ll be doing You’ll support the Finance Business Partner in delivering high quality financial reporting and analysis across our development activities, including: • Producing accurate and timely management accounts for the development programme and associated entities 
    • Supporting the preparation of financial forecasts, budgets and long term financial plans 
    • Providing financial insight and analysis to support business decisions and investment planning 
    • Supporting the financial management of development schemes from appraisal through to completion 
    • Ensuring strong financial controls, audit trails and accounting processes are maintained 
    • Working collaboratively with Development and Finance colleagues to ensure accurate financial information is available to support decision making 
    • Supporting financial reporting requirements for subsidiary company New Living Homes Ltd 
    • Contributing to continuous improvement of financial processes and reporting Please see full Job description at the bottom of this pageOur Ideal Candidate  We are looking for someone who combines strong financial expertise with the ability to work collaboratively across teams. • AAT Level 3 qualified or equivalent • Experience producing management accounts and financial analysis 
    • Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret financial data and provide meaningful insights 
    • Experience working with budgets, forecasts and financial planning 
    • Strong attention to detail and commitment to financial accuracy and governance 
    • Good communication skills and the ability to explain financial information clearly to non finance colleagues 
    • The ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast paced environment
