This is a strategic, high-impact position for a product leader passionate about financial technology, innovation, and delivering world-class solutions to banking clients. You will define the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for the Banking segment, ensuring alignment with Fenergo’s overall product direction. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, marketing, and sales, to deliver products that drive measurable business outcomes for our clients. Key Responsibilities Define and own the Banking product strategy: You will identify market opportunities, customer needs, and competitive differentiators to shape Fenergo’s value proposition in the banking segment. Develop and manage the product roadmap: You will ensure alignment with business goals and client priorities. Collaborate with engineering and design teams: You will translate product vision into detailed requirements and successful product releases. Partner with sales, marketing, and customer success teams: You will support go-to-market strategies, product positioning, and customer engagement. Conduct market research and customer discovery: Identify emerging trends, regulatory changes, and innovation opportunities in the banking sector. Monitor product performance and client feedback: Using data-driven insights to inform continuous improvement and iteration. Act as a thought leader within Fenergo and across the industry: You will represent the Banking product suite in client meetings, industry events, and internal forumsRequirementsAbout You You are a strategic, commercially minded product leader with a passion for building products that deliver real value to financial institutions. Led by our CEO Marc Murphy, our team thrives on solving real-world challenges with smart, scalable, AI driven technology—making this an exciting time to join Fenergo and help shape the future of digital transformation.The Role The Technical Solution Consultant (Pre-Sales) is a trusted technical advisor and platform expert within Fenergo’s go-to-market organisation.  Reporting to the Technical Director Client Solutions, this role partners with Solution Consultants, Sales Executives, and Product specialists to design and present robust, scalable, and secure technical architectures that demonstrate how Fenergo’s SaaS platform solves clients’ business and technology challenges.  The role focuses on the technical and architectural depth of the platform — including SaaS architecture, APIs, integration patterns, data flows, security, and scalability — ensuring clients clearly understand how Fenergo’s technology works and why it is fit for their enterprise landscape and the value this provides.  Key Responsibilities Technical Pre-Sales Engagement  Act as the technical lead in sales cycles, representing the architecture and integration and security capabilities of Fenergo’s SaaS platform.  Collaborate with Solution Consultants to align technical architecture with the proposed business solution.  Participate in RFP/RFI responses, particularly in sections covering architecture, integrations, cloud operations, security, and performance.  Deliver high-impact technical presentations, demonstrations, and workshops for clients and partners.  Articulate the SaaS delivery model and multi-tenant architecture with clarity and confidence to technical and C-level stakeholders.    Platform Architecture & Design  Design high-level solution architectures showing how Fenergo integrates with clients’ existing ecosystems (CRM, data providers, screening providers, case management, downstream systems).  Define integration patterns using Fenergo APIs, , and data exchange mechanisms.  Advise clients on how Fenergo supports SaaS best practices — connectivity, data residency, security, scaling, and high availability.  Provide technical assurance that proposed solutions are feasible, performant, and aligned with Fenergo’s roadmap and standards.  Partner with Product and Engineering teams to stay up to date on the latest architectural changes and roadmap enhancements.    Proof of Concept (PoC) / Technical Validation  Lead or support PoC design and execution, ensuring the client’s key technical success criteria are met.  Build sample integrations, mock APIs, or configurations to validate/demonstrate technical fit.  Document PoC outcomes and present results back to technical and senior teams within the client.    Evangelism & Technical Expertise  Serve as a platform evangelist, educating prospects, partners, and internal teams on Fenergo’s SaaS technology stack.  Contribute to the creation of technical sales assets — architecture decks, whitepapers, demo environments, reference architectures.  Continuously enhance technical credibility by staying current on cloud, API, and financial-tech ecosystem trends.  RequirementsEssential Criteria3+ years in a pre-sales, solution engineering, or technical consulting role for an enterprise SaaS or software vendor.  Strong knowledge of SaaS and cloud architecture (multi-tenant design, high availability, resiliency, scaling).  Hands-on experience with API-based integrations (REST/JSON, XML, message queues, event-driven systems).  Deep understanding of cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.  Familiarity with security models — SSO, OAuth2, encryption, and data residency/regulatory constraints.  Excellent presentation and communication skills;
