Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and be proficient in Motor Vehicle Repairs, MOT's Tyre repairs/Changes, Air Con and Body Work. This role is essential for maintaining and repairing various types of Vehicles, ensuring they operate efficiently and safely.
Duties
Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on Motor Vehicle's.
Diagnose mechanical/1electical issues and determine appropriate solutions.
Utilise hand tools and power tools effectively to perform repairs.
Maintain accurate records of repairs and maintenance performed.
Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of tasks.
Communicate at a high standard, with the team, customers and motor factors.
Follow safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment.
Keep work area clean and organised.
Qualifications
Proven experience as a Mechanic or in a similar role is preferred.
Level 3 Motor Vehicle Qualification with MOT or a willingness to complete MOT Training
Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot issues effectively.
Proficient in the use of hand tools and power tools.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Strong communication skills to liaise with colleagues and clients.
Hours:
Monday-Friday
8-5:30pm
20 Days Paid Annual Leave plus Bank Holidays
No Weekends
