Are you are seeking a rewarding role improving the lives of young people? We are seeking compassionate, resilient, and committed Learning Support Assistants to join our dedicated team.
About us:Family Care is a small family-owned organisation providing specialist SEN education, fostering and residential care across the North West and West Midlands. We are committed to supporting vulnerable children and young people through nurturing, therapeutic services that have a lasting impact on their lives. At Rodenhurst School, relationships come first. We are a small, specialist school supporting children and young people whose needs mean that mainstream education has not always been the right fit. Our pupils present primarily with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, alongside Autism, ADHD and demand-avoidant (PDA) profiles. Many of our pupils require a calm, flexible and therapeutic approach in order to feel safe enough to learn.
Rodenhurst provides a nurturing, structured environment where staff work closely together to support pupils both academically and emotionally. We believe that progress looks different for every child and value growth in confidence, communication, regulation and independence as much as academic achievement.
Small student numbers mean we can give our very best to the young people who come through our doors every day, whether that is a role model to look up to, or a safe person to trust. The LSA role involves supporting these young people with their education and enabling them to be the best they can be and supporting them to discover and achieve towards their future aspirations.
