    A bit about what you will do...

    The role of Head Pastry Chef at Fairmont Windsor park
    is to Supervise day-to-day
    activities of the Pastry Kitchen, communicate objectives, and assign/schedule
    work. Communicate and enforce policies and procedures.

    We are looking for someone with fine dining experience who does not miss
    the smallest details but also someone who loves to give our guests those
    memorable moments.

    Manage
    day-to-day pastry activities, plan and assign work, and establish performance
    and development goals for team members. Provide mentoring, coaching, and
    regular feedback to help manage conflict and improve team member performance.Educate
    and train team members in compliance with brand standards, service behaviours,
    and governmental regulations. Ensure staff have the tools, training, and
    equipment to carry out their duties.Develop
    pastry design and concepts for all food outlets, and catering events. Monitor
    competitor and industry trends.Develop,
    test, and cost out new recipes and menu items for the Pastry Shop/Bakery and
    other F&B outlets. Maintain updated and accurate recipes and costing of all
    products prepared for the Pastry /Bakery, and for all outside orders







    More about you...

    At least
    5 years in a Head pastry chef role. Must havecertifications
    and permits as required by local governmental agencies, including Food Hygiene
    Level 3 and Health & Safety Certificates. Completion
    of a degree or certificate in culinary arts preferred. Experience
    in High level banqueting for +500 paxExperience
    in Michelin level DiningExcellent
    command of the English languageAbility
    to understand guests' service needs.Financially

    suppliers and monitor their performance. In addition, you are expected to
    effectively coordinate the Engineering team on a daily basis.Provide hands-on administrative support to the
    Engineering department, including the Chief and Deputy Chief Engineer.Receive and follow up on calls with suppliers,
    team members, and other departments.Log, distribute, and update job records and daily
    activity logs (KnowCross).Process vendor quotes, purchase orders, invoices,
    and match with delivery notes to prevent discrepancies.Monitor and maintain office supply levels to
    avoid shortages.Set up and maintain an efficient and
    cost-effective filing system.Update and file departmental records, including
    supplier insurance, liability documents, and utility readings.Coordinate meetings, appointments, and inspection
    schedules; assist with daily and monthly departmental meetings.Ensure compliance with company policies, safety
    procedures, and regulatory facility standards.Maintain clean, tidy, and well-organized work
    areas at all times.

    highest standards, leading and contributing to the overall well-being and relaxation of guests in our luxurious hotel.Develop and implement planned maintenance
    programmes to ensure all external areas across the maintained portfolio are
    kept to a high standard.Supervise and coordinate the work of gardeners
    and grounds maintenance staff.Ensure full compliance with all risk assessments
    and safe systems of work relating to grounds maintenance activities.Carry out daily checks of all work equipment,
    including inspections for damage or defects and checks of fuel, oil and water
    levels.Identify, record and request materials and
    supplies required for gardening and landscaping tasks.Undertake daily, weekly and monthly safety
    inspections of grounds maintenance vehicles and equipment.Regularly inspect and ensure the correct use and
    condition of personal protective equipment (PPE).Carry out a wide range of landscaping and grounds
    maintenance duties, including planting, pruning, lawn cutting, strimming, hedge
    cutting, jet washing, weeding, leaf and litter clearance, and external timber
    treatment and painting.Apply weed control, fertilisers and specialist
    treatments (PA1 & PA6 certified) and monitor the overall health and
    condition of tree stock.
