    Are you ready to redefine what's possible?

    EY have recently organised around 5 Industries and are now looking for talented Business Development and Sales Professionals to support our overall growth strategy within the Consumer and Health industry.

    Specifically, we are seeking to recruit an experienced individual who can identify and shape opportunities for EY from our most significant clients. You will be able to bring insight to senior stakeholders and understand how we can support them to achieve their ambitions. In doing so, you’ll harness the best of EY’s Technology, Managed Services and Alliance portfolio whilst leading the commercial management on strategically important accounts. As a seasoned professional you’ll be adept at building relationships with the business leaders and key buyers across the broader organisation.

    Your key responsibilities

    Revenue generation, identifying and developing new business

    Playing a key sales role in originating, developing, and closing opportunities across a dedicated portfolio of your own accounts Understand client needs and value drivers to enhance new business origination, build a personal pipeline of opportunities and establish connections to relevant expertise within the Firm Leverage thought leadership and insights to develop relevant talk tracks that highlight outcomes that we delivered / risks that we have mitigated for similar organisations Coach colleagues across the spectrum of go-to-market activity, building their confidence and skill set

    Client experience

    Build and own buyer relationships and be recognised as the face of EY across key client stakeholders Development of a strong understanding of the client’s context and challenges within the sector Become personally proficient in a selected number of key assets to engage with and add value to clients and prospects alike Provide deep client knowledge in support of all pursuits Develop a personal brand across the market and within EY as a trusted business advisor

    Skills & attributes for success 

    Significant experience of sales and pursuits in a professional services and/or corporate sales environment Proven track record in playing a leadership role in the origination, strategy, management, governance and winning work Proven track record of direct client facing sales experience in a complex and strategic solution sales environment (including client relationship ownership) An entrepreneurial mindset, having demonstrated the ability to identify new and innovative deals / original revenue streams / unique partnerships Experience of Technology, Managed Services and Alliance-backed sales cycles and commercials Experience building and operating within internal and external complex matrix environments Experience working in a cross-border, multi-cultural environment Whilst not essential but desirable, experience of working in a Partnership.

    To qualify for this role you must have

    Extensive experience in Professional Business Development and Sales environments, and the ability to drive, structure, industrialise and professionalise all aspects of the business development and sales execution lifecycle process Strong executive presence and ability to build and sustain internal and external client relationships at the highest levels of the firm and with C-suite clients Extensive understanding of opportunity qualification frameworks and processes Commercial expertise in negotiating, contracting and managing complex technology led frameworks, deals and engagements Hard and soft skills necessary to drive transformational sales performance across multiple geographies, working with UKI and global EY teams Versatile relationship style to succeed in a constantly evolving environment with a wide variety of social styles.

     Responsibilities

    Demonstrate a thorough understanding of complex HR technology and WFM implementation concepts. Lead client engagement teams and work with a wide variety of clients to deliver professional services. Develop and successfully manage to project budget Deliver quality services. Value and model excellent client service by establishing goals and implementation plans to achieve high quality deliverables within expected timeframes. Monitor progress, manage risk, and confirm key stakeholders are kept informed about progress and expected outcomes Develop and maintain productive relationships with client management. Focus on deliverables and client business priorities. Manage expectations of service. Understand the client's industry and recognize key performance drivers and business trends Develop people. Provide constructive on-the-job feedback/training.     To qualify, candidates must have:

    A related bachelor's degree or equivalent experience Significant consulting experience Significant experience of UKG Pro or Pro WFM (or other relevant Tier 1 T&A solution) project implementation experience; UKG Certifications are ideal (Timekeeping, Advanced Scheduling etc.)

    AND/OR

    Significant Payroll implementation experience with Tier 1 vendors ( ADP, Alight) Experience working with clients on solution gap opportunity analysis/recommendations, providing solution oversight and advisory Experience supporting or leading business process design, enhancements Experience participating and/or leading client discussions – requirements gathering, user stories/test scenario creation, solution configuration, lead/support testing and drive deployment An understanding of the end-to-end implementation life cycle Demonstrated experience in project management, leading a team through complex implementations Ability to work through a problem with limited information.     The team is highly dynamic and is looking for motivated, energetic and collaborative individuals to join the US team in London.

    Your key responsibilities
    The role will primarily involve overseeing hedge fund US tax compliance engagements for clients with appropriate consideration of risk, operational, and tax technical issues. Researching US tax legislation and explaining the impact to asset management clients will be required as part of contributing to tax consulting projects. You will be working in a dynamic environment and you will be expected to coach junior staff members (both onshore and offshore) and share your knowledge and experience with the entire team. You will also be expected to coordinate multiple engagement teams’ schedules and deadlines.

    Skills and attributes for success

    Positive attitude and willingness to be a team player. Excellent time and project management skills. Proficiency in securities analysis for non-475 funds, including wash sales, straddles, debt, swaps, and other analysis required to compute a hedge fund’s taxable income. Practical understanding of hedge fund partnership allocations including an understanding of revaluation accounts and aggregation. Experience advising clients on the US tax impact of various trading strategies and fund structures, as well as US tax elections. Proficiency in juggling multiple priorities while managing internal and external stakeholders. Willingness and ability to learn new concepts with minimal guidance. Enthusiasm for coaching and developing team members.

    To qualify for the role, you must have

    Current CPA, EA or equivalent qualification or Degree / Master’s degree in accounting or taxation (or equivalent). Knowledge of corporate and international tax returns and related US tax laws. Extensive experience in preparing and reviewing partnership tax returns and Schedules K-1. Practical experience with hedge fund securities analysis and allocations. In-depth knowledge of Go Systems tax preparation software or similar system. 

    Ideally, you’ll also have

    Experience managing cross-border teams of 2-6 people. Ability to liaise directly with non-tax stakeholders at your clients to explain US tax concepts at a practical level. Knowledge of a hedge fund US tax preparation software. Knowledge of common management company structures and their US tax considerations. Background in financial services, ideally working with hedge funds in a US tax capacity. Experience in delivering technical and soft skills training to junior team members.

    Key capabilities you should be prepared to bring to client facing and internal initiative teams include:

    A solid understanding of using Organisational Design, Target Operating Model and change management as integral components of transformational initiatives with a focus on accelerating business performance. Foundational understanding of the opportunities and risks associated with acquisitions, divestures, mergers, and the organizational design implications is preferred. Competent in completing data analysis and current state assessment, leveraging organisational effectiveness measures to assess maturity of organisational and operating model designs. Experience leveraging tools to expediate data collection, analysis and design is preferred. Technical competence in our wider Workforce Transformation solutions including strategic workforce planning and performance / succession management is preferred.     To qualify for the role, you must have:

    Relevant professional service experience, with a global management consultancy firm, or an internal position in which you were responsible for delivering organisation design projects. Prior experience in Operating Model Development, Organisational Structure and Design, Strategic Workforce Planning, Capability Mapping, Organisational Assessment, and Organisational Governance with success in current job applying one or more of these capabilities. Experience of managing and delivering organisation design in one or more of the following sector domains; Banking and Capital Markets, Insurance, Wealth, and Asset Management, FinTechs, Private Equity.     Monitoring audit progress including compliance with budgets and deadline. Ensuring that audit work is being allocated to team members on a level commensurate with their past experience Review of audit work papers and reporting to the relevant partner / director

    Post Audit
    Adequate fee recovery, variance analysis, billing procedures and pursuing overdue accounts. Arrangement of closing meeting including preparation of support for agenda. Controlling preparation of final version accounts and reports.

    To qualify for the role you must have
    Proven track record of outstanding performance. Worked on Large / Multinational clients Clearly demonstrate an on-going commitment to personal and professional development through continuing education and development. Qualified Accountant ACA, ACCA, CPA qualified Minimum of 3 years relevant post qualification experience, including at least one in a role as an audit manager or with equivalent experience Ability and willingness to work primarily on challenging and complex projects Experience with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) & "new" UK GAAP An ability to manage projects and teams High Technical Knowledge Excellent commercial, management and organisational skills Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
