We have an exciting opportunity for someone to join the Retail team here at ExtraCare in a newly created role that will support the delivery of our retail strategy. This role offers the chance to grow, develop and help shape the future of our retail offer. The Retail Business Development Coordinator will join our award-winning charity, The ExtraCare Charitable Trust, and contribute to our mission of creating ‘better lives for older people’. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the delivery of the Retail Strategy by overseeing day-to-day operational efficiency, compliance, and coordination across the retail network. The Retail Business Development Coordinator will act as a central point of contact for retail shops, ensuring consistent standards, maintaining compliance systems, and supporting the Retail Operations and Projects Manager with the implementation of new initiatives, projects, and Business improvements.

    Role Details Role: Retail Business Development Coordinator Hours: 37.5 hours per week (full-time) Location: Head Office, Coventry; with occasional travel as required. (A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle for work purposes are required.) Salary: £33,000 per annum
    Key Duties • Work closely with the Retail Operations and Projects Manager and wider Retail team to deliver operational projects and retail improvement initiatives. • Act as the key contact for retail operational queries, providing guidance and solutions or escalating where necessary. • Support the production and timely circulation of the weekly retail communication bulletin to all shops in collaboration with the Retail Operations and Projects Manager. • Introducing new initiatives, managing processes end to end. • To work with the Retail team and Retail Managing Director as necessary to achieve financial targets and budgets. Strong verbal and written communication skills, and organisations skills are required. Proven retail experience is essential.
