You'll lead the engineering delivery on a key sonar programme.     About the Role
    We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Junior HSE Advisor to join our team on an initial 12-month fixed-term contract. This is an excellent opportunity for a developing HSE professional to gain valuable hands-on experience implementing and maintaining environmental, health, and safety policies within a regulated environment.
    Key Responsibilities
    Implement and maintain company HSE policies in line with local, state, and federal regulations. Monitor and ensure compliance with all environmental, health, and safety legislation. Participate in the planning and development of facilities, work areas, and procedures to enhance HSE standards. Support the creation, maintenance, and review of HSE policies, procedures, and documentation. Assist in the management and upkeep of HSE systems and practices. Serve as a point of contact with external regulatory agencies and authorities. Stay up to date on changes in relevant legislation and advise the business accordingly. Work under direct supervision and follow pre-established guidelines and instructions.
    Required Qualifications & Experience
    Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health, Safety Management, or a related field. Previous experience in a junior HSE role or relevant internship/work placement. Recognised HSE qualification (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH, or equivalent) – essential. Strong understanding of industry regulations, standards, and practices. Excellent organisational and communication skills. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and take initiative when required.
