Our clients, a VIP couple residing in Ladbroke Grove, are seeking a Nanny for their 3 children; 8, 13 and 16 years.
The ideal candidate will be a kind, nurturing, enthusiastic Nanny, university educated, with considerable experience at primary level teaching to help look after and assist with the children’s education.
This role would be a great fit for any self-motivated, curious and inspired teachers out there who would like to take a bit of a break from the classroom and school life, and get into a busy, energetic, family home environment.
A typical working week will be Monday to Friday, 10.00am-7.00pm with a 1-hour lunch break.
Duties will include the following, but not be limited to: Set targets, goals and monitor progress in order to prepare the children appropriately for British school entry examinations. Undertaking appropriate educational activities with the children, assisting with homework and projects. Scheduling and coordinating children’s activities, as well as arranging appropriate creative activities with the children. Collecting and transporting the children from school. Taking the children to their after-school activities. Keeping the children’s parents informed of diary additions, changes, school notices and invitations at all times. Planning healthy, nutritious and interesting meals and snacks for the children. Encourage the children to clear away after their snacks and meals, in keeping with the family values set up by the parents. Keeping the children’s bedrooms and wardrobes in good order. Ensuring that each evening, the children’s uniforms and school bags/kits are organised and ready for the following morning. Shopping for children’s requirements as directed by the children’s parents or family PA. Undertaking appropriate outdoor activities with the children. Researching and booking camps and clubs relevant to each child’s skills and interests for school holidays and weekends. Researching schools and universities, filling out applications, and assisting on all administration. Reading and sharing stories with the children. Reinforcing appropriate discipline, good manners and social skills. Implementing daily routines. Running errands. Babysitting when requested, occasional last-minute babysitting requests. Proxy parenting on request. During school holidays, or when the children are unwell, the Nanny may be asked to work 12 hour days. It is a MUST that you possess the following: Degree educated in the UK Experienced UK driver Fun and friendly but firm Someone who is not afraid to muck in Very good at disciplining children Proven longevity Willing to be flexible Glowing references DBS checked Comfortable working in a household with dogs
