    Job Description

    What will you be doing?We’re seeking a talented Group Procurement Manager to join our team in London, which is responsible for working closely with the Senior Group Procurement Manager on all aspects of the procurement life cycle and leading on allocated sub-categories.You will support the Evelyn Partners Group on all third-party engagements enhancing commercial and operational value to the business and its clients. Responsible for negotiating commercial deals with suppliers with the aim to reduce cost and improve service delivery.The ideal candidate will have experience of working within a fast-paced, dynamic procurement team and with a can-do attitude to see things through to completion. You will actively manage supplier risk and performance to ensure continuity and will also be responsible for developing supplier relationships to ensure Evelyn Partners Group is at the forefront of innovation within all categories.As Group Procurement Manager, your responsibilities will include among others:Work as a Business Partner with key stakeholders across the Group, acting as the first point of contact for procurement queries and process playing an integral part in building relationships and providing procurement adviseEnsuring companywide procurement requirements and contract management solutions for allocated categories are managed effectivelySupport the Senior Group Procurement Manager in high-value and complex projects and deputise for the Senior Group Procurement Manager, as necessary, in relevant meetings and working groupsManage contract repository and your Procurement Pipeline and Tracker to see projects through to completion and own the cradle-to-grave procurement process including ITT/RFPs, RFIs, RFQsConduct commercial and contract negotiations and implement appropriate tactics to achieve favourable outcomes, ensuring all contracts meet Group policy, regulatory and industry standardsDevelop relationships with existing suppliers to reduce costs or provide an enhanced service whilst delivering innovation, sustainability, and benefit to the business
    Qualifications

    To be successful in this role, you should:Significant experience within indirect procurement, negotiation and Supplier Relationship Management experience, and with a sound understanding of Procurement category management Experience in end-to-end strategic procurement across specialist categories such as IT, Property or Marketing, generalists will also be considered Ability to operate in a fast-paced environment, ideally having come from a Financial Services background, however other backgrounds will also be consideredExperienced in drafting and interpreting of contracts and clausesCreating and managing complex tender and benchmarking exercises, leveraging eSourcing platform (Curtis Fitch) to run, manage and report on tendering exercises Ability to analyse data to inform effective decision making, prioritise workload to meet deadlines with excellent attention to detail and good problem-solving skillsDesired: Strong academic recordIdeally a 2.1 degreeMCIPS Qualified or working towards the qualificationPrince2/APM (desirable)
