  Job Description
  
  Reporting to the Managing Director, a Client Services Director is responsible and accountable for all the accounts in the cluster, as well as responsible for the strategic and financial planning for the business.Responsibilities:1. Client Management:             Responsible for all the accounts in the cluster and the business development2. Strategy:            a. Responsible for strategic planning, & setting long-term goals            b. Responsible for ensuring alignment with the organization's goals and objectives            c. Work closely with other departments and other clusters to identify needs and opportunities, and constantly improve internal collaboration3. Revenue:            a. Ensure that all the accounts deliver the expected revenue target and profitability            b. Responsible for the overall revenue amounting to minimum ~ 7 m+4. Project Management:            a.  Supervises the Research team to ensure the projects are delivered on time and with high standards of quality            b.  Provide support to the Research teams during clients’ meetings and for complex/ strategic research proposals or tenders 5. People:             a.  Manages a minimum of 10 team members directly or indirectly             b.  Mentor teams in research skills and their career development             c. Manage team budget and resources
  Qualifications
  
  Minimum 5 years of higher education with knowledge in market research and/or sensory researchKnowledge of food and/or cosmetic products, quantitative consumer research methodologies, sensory methodologies and statistics.Significant experience in a Research manager role at SAM or in other companiesExperience in leading and mentoring research teamsSkills in managing budgetsExcellent written and oral communication skills in English and FrenchProficiency in MS Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etcStrong leadership abilities to manage teams and oversee large-scale research initiativesExcellent organisational and problem-solving skillsRigorous, responsive and proactive

  Panel Management:Recruit and train sensory panellistsLead daily panel sessions, ensuring protocols are followed and data is collected accuratelyMonitor and coach panellists to maintain consistency, reliability, and performance.Deliver refresher training to existing panellistsMonitor panel performance monthlyFoster a positive, focused, and productive panel environment.Maintain up-to-date training records and proficiency tracking.Ensure correct sample preparation, presentation, and environmental controls.Operate sensory software and tools (RedJade)Ensure accurate input and organization of sensory data.Maintain testing facilities, equipment, and cleanliness according to SOPs.Contribute to continuous improvement of sensory protocols and documentation.Ensure ethical and unbiased testing environments.
  Qualifications
  
  Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in food science or a related disciplineMinimum 1–2 years of experience of running a sensory panel.Strong interpersonal and communication skills for coaching panellists and coordinating with teams.High attention to detail and data accuracy.Comfortable working in a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment.Desirable Traits:Experience with sensory software and basic statistical concepts (ANOVA, PCA, etc.) is a plus.Empathetic, patient, and clear communicator.Confident in giving feedback and facilitating group discussions.Analytical mindset with an interest in sensory science and human perception.Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities and project needs.
