Join us as a Transport Planner, based in Stirling for the Insulation division of Etex! This is a fast-paced role focused on ensuring customer deliveries are made on time and in full. You’ll optimise efficiency and cost through effective route planning and carrier selection while maximising load capacity. Success in this role means building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, taking ownership of unforeseen issues, and maintaining accurate administration. What you’ll do: Provide first-class customer service by proactively sharing relevant information and using effective communication. Convert customer orders into shipping orders and allocate to the most appropriate haulier (UK and Export). Plan efficient routes and maximise load availability. Collect, maintain, and analyse data for KPIs and daily/weekly/monthly reporting. Resolve problems effectively using root cause analysis to improve operations. Build strong, trusting relationships with internal departments. Process transport-related invoices promptly and query discrepancies. Communicate strategic requirements and customer-specific needs to hauliers. Continuously review haulier performance and provide feedback. Assist the Customer Service & Logistics Manager with ad hoc tasks and reporting, including covering in their absence. What you’ll bring: Previous experience in transport planning.     This role is an 8 month Fixed Term Contract Maternity Cover.
      Working as a Customer Service Agent you will ensure all customer orders are managed correctly and requirements are processed right first time.
      What you’ll do: Respond and take ownership of our customers’ orders and deliver inspirational customer service. Answer customer enquiries relating to our products and services, in a way that reinforces the benefits of being a customer of Etex Building Performance. Undertake additional customer related activities as reasonably requested by your Manager. Be the key contact for customers and external sales team by proactively managing all aspects of the customer ordering process end to end.
     
    What you’ll bring: Previous experience working in a busy customer service environment. Strong attention to detail and high accuracy when undertaking order processing. Professional telephone manner plus ability to build strong working relationships with customers and colleagues. Maths and English GCSE (or equivalent) at grade C or above. Ability to use Microsoft Outlook.
