This role involves leading and inspiring the Field Sales and Aveda LSS team to achieve sales targets, deliver exceptional customer service, and ensure operational excellence. The National Field Sales & Operations Manager ensures that strategies are effectively cascaded and executed through the Area Field management & Aveda LSS team, to drivebusiness growth, and achieve targets and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) across all stores in the region. Additionally, this role involves overseeing Operation arm of the business, along with account management of 8 Wholesale Retailer Accounts, achieving retail, net sales, and operating profit sales goals by developing and executing the brand’s strategic plans.WHAT THIS ROLE DOES:
Sales & StrategyDevelop and execute retail sales strategies to maximise performance and achieve business objectives.Produce accurate sales forecasts, manage the P&L, and ensure financial targets are met.Analyse sales trends and financial reports to identify growth opportunities and implement corrective actions.Deliver weekly and monthly trade reports to support data-driven decision-making.Collaborate with brand teams on forecasting, inventory, and strategic adjustments.Team Leadership & DevelopmentLead, coach, and develop Area Managers and the Aveda LSS Salon GM, driving performance, KPIs, and targets.Provide ongoing training to strengthen presentation, commercial acumen, and strategic thinking skills.Customer Experience & OperationsMaintain high customer service and operational standards across all retail locations.Oversee store operations, openings, visual merchandising, stock management, and compliance to boost profitability and minimise shrinkage.Optimise resource planning to enhance service levels, sales, and operational efficiency.Retailer Relationships & Business DevelopmentBuild strong partnerships with retail partners to achieve shared sales goals.Identify new business opportunities and develop strategic plans to drive growth.Present innovative sales and operational strategies to increase market share.Account Management & NegotiationsLead negotiations on trade and marketing initiatives to meet commercial targets.Manage stock allocations for NPD and key retail moments (e.g., Christmas), ensuring e-retail sites have accurate content and banners.Ensure retailer websites are regularly updated and aligned with brand guidelinesWHAT YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE:
Ability to work at both strategic and operational levels, with a proactive and adaptable approach. Substantial operational experience in a high-volume retail environment.Proven experience in educational leadership, particularly in the retail or beauty industry.Strong leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and develop high-performing teams.Strong commercial acumen with the ability to analyse financial data and implement strategies to drive business growth.Excellent communication skills and negotiating skills, with the ability to present complex ideas clearly and persuasively.QUALIFICATIONSMinimum of 5+ years' experience in a retail sales leadership role, with experience in managing large or multi-site businesses.Proven track record in leading sales performance and developing high-performing teams.Strong understanding of retail operations, visual merchandising, and customer service excellence.Ability to travel across the region and work flexible hours
