It's an exciting time to join us having received our 2nd Outstanding Ofsted rating in a row.The OpportunityThe team delivers comprehensive assessment and support services to both adults and children impacted by Special Guardianship Orders (SGOs). This includes financial assistance, family support, therapeutic interventions, group work, and facilitation of contact arrangements, among other tailored services. The Permanence Support Coordinator will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining a review system for Special Guardianship Orders, Residence Orders and Adoption Orders allowances.The Permanence Support Coordinator will provide expert advice regarding financial aspects of the support for the Special Guardianship Orders, Residence Orders and Adoption Orders taking referrals and provide advice regarding other aspects of support for the Special Guardianship Orders.To provide efficient coordination of the centralised allowance system for Special Guardianship Orders, Residence Orders and Adoption Orders system and work as part of the Adoption and SGO Support Teams including taking in new referrals for the team. AccountabilitiesAdminister and oversee post-order financial support, including SGO, Adoption, and CAO allowances, in line with statutory and local policy.Coordinate the Adoption, SGO, and Fostering Capital Resource Panel, ensuring accurate documentation and communication of outcomes.Manage Adoption Support Fund (ASF) applications, ensuring compliance with national criteria and effective liaison with practitioners.Deliver financial operations related to permanency support, including processing payments and maintaining audit compliance.Provide specialist advice on financial aspects of permanency arrangements, responding to referrals and supporting practitioners and service users.Maintain accurate records and documentation for Adoption, SGO, CAO, and Fostering Capital, ensuring timely and compliant processing.Support Family Operations teams through data analysis and reporting to inform service planning and decision-making.Maintain and validate a comprehensive dataset of permanency arrangements, ensuring robust tracking and adherence to processes.Communicate effectively and empathetically with service users, applying de-escalation techniques and demonstrating knowledge of relevant legislation.Promote collaborative working across Family Operations, embedding systems that support timely and high-quality information sharing.Act as a point of contact for financial queries related to Adoption, SGO, and CAO arrangements.Undertake any other duties commensurate with the role to support service delivery.The Experience You Will BringEducated to A' Level standard, including NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in administration. GCSE in Maths and English.Current / Recent work experience performing a support role in a busy office environment.Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively across teams and with external partners.Possess strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook.Be confident in using and navigating computerised systems / case management systems and databases (e.g. Mosaic).Show a high level of accuracy and attention to detail in all aspects of work.Communicate clearly and professionally, both verbally and in writing.
