Equans is looking for a Mobile Plumber to join our team working across Birmingham. This is a permanent full-time role, working 37.5 hours per week on a two week rotation basis. Week 1, Monday - Friday 6am - 2pm & Week 2, Monday - Friday 10am - 6pm. On offer is a salary banding of £34, - £36, per annum dependent upon skills and experience, company vehicle and a benefits package. There is also an on-call rota and overtime available. What will you deliver?
Carry out planned preventable maintenance (PPM) on plumbing, and all water systems; plant and equipment in accordance with the PPM programme
Respond in a timely manner to breakdown requests
Be proactive in reporting faults to equipment, buildings and fittings
Assist with installation works involved in minor upgrading and adaptation works
Work in accordance with Work Instructions, Safe Working Practices and Method Statements ensuring relevant paperwork is completed in an accurate timely manner
Safely operate all types of access equipment, hand and power tools in accordance with health & safety and manufacturers guidelines
Ensure the correct use of personal protective equipment and adherence to health & safety and infection control procedures
Carry out on call duties as part of a rota
Respond in a safe manner to the effects of bad weather, e.g. snow clearing, gritting, flooding, high winds where required etc.

Recognised apprenticeship in relevant engineering discipline
NVQ Level 3 Diploma in Plumbing and Heating
Legionella awareness
Previously worked within a maintenance environment, ideally Childcare
Effective communication skills as you will be working in operational sites, where your awareness will be tested
Experience in water hygiene/legionella management activities
Prepared to work out of hours as necessary
Prepared to travel to other sites within the Company
Possess a current valid driving licence
