    EQUANS are looking for a HVAC Engineer working on our Knowsley Schools contract in Liverpool. This role would be a permanent full-time role working 40 hours per week. On offer is a competitive salary and benefits package.General Overview:
    Accountable for ensuring all Spaces, Environmental/Temperature Control rooms and equipment are available for end users, keeping down times to an absolute minimum during breakdowns.
    Fault find on all A/C units, refrigeration systems and chiller plant on site.
    Ensure the sites F-Gas logbook is kept up to date, and all losses, recoveries and additions are recorded appropriately.
    Be responsible for the maintenance and operational upkeep of portable and fixed air conditioning and refrigeration equipment. 
    Plan, oversee and work with all subcontractors during service visits associated with Refrigeration systems.
    Recover, repair, pressure test, vacuum dehydrate, charge and re-commission A/C units as required. 
    Adaptable and able to undertake any other engineering task as required by the Account Manager or Technical Services Manager.
    Ensure that PPM and Reactive jobs are processed. 
    Defects are diagnosed and reported.
    Faults are repaired in a timely manner and in budget.
    Complete daily job sheets and PPM logs via PDA/tablet in real time using CAFM systems.
    Responsibilities will also include being a member of the on-call rota for the contract. Client/Customer
    Respond in a timely manner to verbal and written requests
    Coordinate quotations with the contract manager
    Use preferred suppliers where possible

    Helpdesk - PPM 
    Support the Helpdesk: in servicing and breakdowns 
    Be available for out of hours call-out support for the contract Compliance 
    Achieve appointment as Refrigeration Responsible and Competent Person
    Complete all operational Logs, F-gas reports and job sheets via CAFM and compliance systems
    Production of information for quotations
    Production and collation of Condition / Dilapidation Reports
    Complete report accident, near misses returns in a timely manner
    Ensure the site supervisor is informed immediately if dangerous circumstances occur
    Completion of electronic reports for compliance SHEQ
    Ensure you work to company health and safety policy
    Ensue PPE is safe to use
    Ensure your test equipment is within calibration 
    Ensure you follow Method Statements & Risk Assessments for all works Impact:
    Working to high standard of Building Maintenance, we require a fully reliable air conditioning engineer who can work on own initiative or within a team environment. Produce high quality reports of their findings. The role will involve being the face of Equans, so smart appearance and being able to discuss findings with others is required.
    Carry out the defined planned maintenance regime for all contractual obligations within the School Buildings..
    Ensure Safe Systems of Work (SSoW) are in place.
    Issuing of relative working permits.
    Carry out repairs, reactive maintenance and minor installation works on plant.
    Attend, diagnose and repair faults having due regard to customer care in this specific environment.
    Carry out proactive plant monitoring activities to ensure efficient utilisation of plant and equipment
    Interrogation of operational information systems to support daily operations as well as fault diagnosis
    Complete the relevant paperwork and report diligently.
    Any other relevant duties that may be required, some of which may be outside normal working hours.
    You will be expected to undertake any training necessary to ensure that you are able to undertake your duties effectively. Complexity:

The shifts will include a week of working 7:00am - 15:00pm followed by working a week of working 10:00am - 18:00pm, these weeks will alternate. On offer is a salary of £36, + an additional £2, on-call allowance. This will also include an additional benefits package.General Overview: 
    Equans are recruiting for a Multi-Skilled Technician Electrical, based at Salford Royal 
    Hospital, but may also infrequently be required to cover Tameside General Hospital, the Multi-Skilled Technician will be responsible for the technical performance and maintenance of standards at Salford Royal Hospital. They will provide guidance to others on site, showing technical 
    expertise in Electrical systems. Ensure appropriate and compliant solutions and efficient customer service delivery. The Technician will have technical knowledge in more than one skill or technology area and will form part of the out of hours on call rota.
