This role will be responsible for managing engineering projects from concept through to completion, supporting the design, development and delivery of bespoke machinery and plant layouts for customers across the UK and internationally. This role will lead commercial strategy from tender stage through to final account, ensuring contractual compliance, effective risk management and the successful delivery of profitable project outcomes. Key Responsibilities Lead all commercial activities across projects from tender through to final account, ensuring financial performance targets and contractual obligations are achieved. Manage contract administration, change control, variations, claims, valuations, cash flow and final account negotiations with clients and subcontractors. Oversee commercial reporting, including CVRs, forecasting, cost-to-complete analysis, WIP reporting and risk and opportunity management. Provide commercial leadership and support to project teams, pre-construction activities, estimating functions and senior stakeholders. Mentor and develop junior commercial staff, promoting best practice, governance and continuous improvement across the commercial function.
