Join us as a Rural Partnerships Officer and help ensure new homes reflect what communities truly need. The role As a Rural Partnerships Officer, you'll play a key role in helping to shape the future of rural communities by supporting the delivery of much-needed affordable homes. Working closely with parish councils, local residents and partner organisations, you'll help identify and evidence local housing need, ensuring new homes that genuinely reflect what communities need to thrive. This is a varied and engaging role where no two days are the same. You'll lead on coordinating housing needs surveys, analysing and interpreting data, and translating your findings into clear, practical advice that helps communities explore their options and move forward with confidence. You'll be at the heart of community engagement—organising consultation events, building trusted relationships with stakeholders, and supporting projects through their early stages. Alongside this, you'll contribute to wider rural housing strategies, strengthen partnerships across the West Midlands, and champion the work of Midlands Rural Housing.
