Salary: £48,000 + Training + Progression + Flexitime + Early Friday Finish

This is a great opportunity to join a highly technical engineering business supplying critical products into safety-led, high-integrity industries. You'll play a key role in ensuring new and existing products meet the highest quality, compliance and traceability standards, while working closely with engineering, manufacturing, suppliers and customers.
The Role
You'll be the quality lead within project teams, supporting New Product Introduction and driving robust quality planning from day one. The focus is on prevention, not firefighting, ensuring products are compliant, traceable and delivered right first time.
Key responsibilities include:Leading APQP and NPI activities from feasibility through to volume productionOwning PPAP submissions and ensuring manufacturing readinessManaging non-conformances, root cause analysis and corrective actionsLeading internal, external and supplier audits, including special processesEnsuring full traceability, lifetime records and material certificationSupporting process validation, control plans and capability studiesActing as a key interface between engineering, manufacturing, suppliers and customersWhat They're Looking ForQuality Engineer within a regulated or high-integrity manufacturing environmentStrong working knowledge of APQP, PPAP, FMEA, SPC, MSA and Root Cause AnalysisExperience supporting NPI and transition from prototype to productionConfident dealing with audits, suppliers and customersAble to read engineering drawings and understand manufacturing processesBackground in nuclear, defence, aerospace, pressure equipment or similar environments is highly desirableInterested in a confidential conversation?
