The Role

Based on the beautiful South Coast in Portsmouth, we specialise in the Industrial, Control & Automation sector, with a strong focus on the Water Industry. Due to continued growth and success, we are currently expanding our team and seeking an Approved Electrician to join us on multiple small to medium projects across the South.
Ideally, we would like someone with previous Water Industry experience, although it is not essential. As a valued member of our team, you will receive the support and training to become a competent and skilled in controls and automation.
Key Responsibilities:
Install cable containment systems/cable tray to a high standard.
Install, gland, terminate SWA cable systems mainly used within the industrial sector to a high standard.
Reading of electrical drawings and planning/managing electrical installations.
Install and test electrical equipment to BS 7671.
Working safely and responsibly inline with Company procedures

The Person
Fully qualified installation electrician with skill in the installation heavy duty cable containment and SWA cables, including 3 phase motors, controls panels and instrumentation.
Hold an NVQ Level 3.
ECS Gold Card - must be current/in date with BSth Edition training.
Hold test and inspect qualifications - 2391 or equivalent.
Knowledge of applicable electrical standards and regulations
Awareness of site health and safety.
Be confident working as part of a team or independently.
Applicants must be currently eligible to work in the UK.
