Job Duties: Responsible for operating machinery, maintaining high quality standards, and supporting the smooth running of the manufacturing area. Monitor machine performance and report issues to management. Physically move tooling, fittings, and materials as needed. Inspect fittings and report quality concerns promptly. Maintain excellent housekeeping and ensure any defective parts are properly segregated. Provide support to colleagues and offer absence cover to maintain output. Take part in continuous improvement activities and support other tasks within the manufacturing department. Requirements: Previous experience in a manufacturing or production line environment. Good technical ability with a machine setter background. Experience following work-based procedures in a manufacturing environment. Self-motivated and adaptable, with a willingness to learn and take on new tasks. Strong safety awareness with experience in safe systems of work and waste handling procedures. Confidence in taking responsibility within defined limits of authority. Salary: £31,737 Per Annum (including shift premium). Working hours: Days, Nights and Afters, 6am 2pm, 2pm 10pm, 10pm 6am.
