All four partners have specialist expertise in the design, construction, operation, financing and maintenance of railway networks, including the construction of one of Europe’s latest high speed rail projects. We are currently looking for a HR Coordinator to join our team based in Milton Keynes. This role will require a regular travel to our site office in Aylesbury. In this role, you will be involved in supporting HR team across EKFB projects, providing administrative support across the employee lifecycle including onboarding, employee records, reporting and HR coordination. You will be working closely with HR Business Partners, project teams and site managers and assist in delivering HR support to operational teams across multiple locations.   This role will require you to maintain accurate employee data, support recruitment coordination, and assist with onboarding new starters, including inductions and compliance checks. You will support employee relations activities, including coordinating meetings, preparing documentation and taking notes. Experience supporting employee relations cases such as disciplinaries, grievances, and absence management would be desirable.     In addition, you will assist with HR reporting and data management, ensuring information is accurate and up to date within HR systems. You will also support training coordination, absence tracking and general HR queries from employees and managers. Working with wider project teams, you will help ensure HR processes are delivered consistently across the project. About You Key Skills and Qualifications Excellent organisational and administrative skills. Previous HR administration experience.  Strong communication and interpersonal skills.  Ability to build relationships with site teams and stakeholders.  Ability to work independently and proactively.  Strong attention to detail and ability to manage confidential information.  Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.  Good IT skills including Microsoft Word, Excel and HR systems.  CIPD Level 3 (or working towards) desirable. Assisting with temporary works design schemes, you will liaise with the Sub Agent and Section Foreman to allocate labour, plant and materials to carry out works activities to the required standards, programme and budget.   You'll be responsible for managing the site setting-out team and be responsible for the performance and development of the Site Engineers and also for identifying and resolving technical problems on site in liaison with the Sub-Agent. Monitoring and coordinating subcontractors in the performance of their works, ensuring they are completed to the contractual requirements.   Ensuring that the team have all current information and resources required to carry out their duties, you will be required to assist with the production of programmes, progress reports, resource and cost plans and contribute to financial forecasting. In this role, you will be supporting the Section Environmental Manager and the Construction Team in ensuring all environmental, consents and sustainability matters, are implemented effectively. You will be a part of the EKFB Environment Team but will work as an integrated member of the Section Construction Team and will advise and provide guidance to the Engineering Team on relevant issues and concerns, helping to facilitate construction in a compliant manner. You will assist with monitoring, the production of and implementation of permits and consents, you will implement environmental construction compliance policy procedures; assist with regular reporting and attend site to ensure that controls are being implemented. It is critical that you build effective relationships with other EKFB team members and stakeholders. You will support the team, promoting good practice relating to environmental management, environmental consenting, sustainability, sharing best practice and learning. About You Key Skills and Qualifications: The successful candidate will be required to have a relevant qualification such as BSc (or equivalent) in Environmental Science, Geology, Environmental Management or related subjects.  You will have experience as an environmental advisor on a Construction or Civil Engineering project. You will have a good understanding of UK legislation and practical control of water pollution, waste management, ecology, soils and air quality. Ideally, you will have a good understanding of chemistry as you may be involved in sampling and analysing lab samples. Experience of monitoring and management for issues such as air quality, noise and water would be beneficial. You will have good written and presentation skills.     We're seeking to recruit a Quality Assurance Engineer to join our team based in Milton Keynes.
    In this role, you will understand and promote the principles/importance of self assurance within Construction Delivery Team. You will understand and promote ownership of Inspection and Test Plans (ITP) and their checklists ensuring quality compliance throughout the construction phases. You will collaborate with the Construction Delivery Teams to plan for delivery pre-work processes, ITPs to suit the construction methods/activities, checking records of construction and progressive capture of records. You will also understand and implement the EKFB Quality requirements to ensure ITP's are compliant and confirm with HS2 requirements and contain the appropriate document references.  Part of this role is to support the delivery of all construction phase quality assurance activities/records and be responsible for checking the completeness of the records in accordance with the plans/procedures. You will be liaising with the Handover and Completion team to ensure the records are adequate for handover. You will actively understand quality issues and be instrumental in finding solutions with the Construction Delivery team, the quality team and subject matter experts. This position involves development and utilising relationships with the Designer’s and Client’s representatives and internal stakeholders to deliver all ITP related aspects of quality and assurance, ensuring seamless information exchange with the Construction Delivery Team. You will use relevant IT systems to manage all relevant quality documentation and records and also relevant systems to manage progress of the ITPs between EKFB, Designer and Client representatives. In addition, you will deliver awareness sessions as part of a wider programme to non-quality professionals and communicate the benefits and knowledge of the Business Management System. You will carry out internal audits and other quality surveillance activities as required and actively support the Project Quality Assurance Manager and other Quality Assurance Engineers. Our scope of the works includes 15 viaducts, 5km of green tunnels, 22km of road diversions, 67 overbridges and around 30 million cubic metres of excavation.
