The network includes around 800 structures and 5 tunnels, so it requires high levels of performance, constant improvement and repairs to keep it operating smoothly.We’ve formed a Joint Venture project called Connect Plus Services (CPS) to work with our partners to widen, operate and maintain the M25 under a 30-year contract and we are now looking for a Senior Project Planner to join our team.This role is central to creating, maintaining and communicating project delivery schedules using specialist planning tools (including MS Project and Primavera P6) to ensure that projects are delivered on time.The Senior Project Planner will work closely with Portfolio Managers and their teams to produce accurate and reliable project schedules. They will also produce regular reports showing progress compared to agreed baselines, showing reasons for deviation.An important part of this role is also to support the Commercial team in assessing the impact of Compensation Events under the NEC contract.     Reference - Position descriptionJob titleSenior/Principal Mechanical/Public Health Engineer Contract typePermanent contract Business Line specific context To provide Mechanical and Public Health engineering support on the HS2 Old Oak Common project through design to completion. This will involve all stages from design, installation, testing and commissioning. Support to Mechanical and Public Health construction teams to ensure successful delivery from a HSE, programme, quality and compliance perspectives.As the Senior/Principal Mechanical/Public Health Engineer you will be responsible for leading VVBs and the JV known as Anthro (VVB & Egis) Mechanical/Public Health function.You will lead a small Engineering team to deliver the design, installation and commissioning of either the Mechanical or Public Health scope of works at HS2 Old Oak Common Station. This incorporates parts of the station which work to HS2, Network Rail (NR), or both technical standards. The role is working in the Rail sector, experience in Rail or related infrastructure sectors would be ideal. This is a project based in Acton for at least 3-5 days per week initially.You must have the right to work in the UK. This role will be working for VVB Engineering, a joint venture partner of Egis as part of the Anthro JV managing the MEP program of works at Old Oak Common. Job description Key ResponsibilitiesLead a small Engineering team to deliver the design, installation and commissioning of either the Mechanical or Public Health scope of works at HS2 Old Oak Common Station.
