Leading complex troubleshooting activities and supporting the development and training of manufacturing teams. Supporting the introduction of new products, processes and equipment into manufacturing operations. Driving quality control, including reducing customer complaints, non-conformances and audit findings. Providing technical input into customer complaint investigations and non-conformance management. Leading plant trials and experimental programmes in line with Management of Change requirements. Acting as the manufacturing link for new product development programmes. About You You’ll be a technically strong engineer who enjoys solving problems and turning data into practical improvements. You’ll be confident working across multiple functions and influencing teams at different levels. The successful candidate will take ownership of each improvement opportunity and ensure solutions deliver lasting value. You’ll ideally have: A degree or equivalent qualification in Engineering, Materials Science or another relevant technical discipline. Significant experience delivering process improvements within a manufacturing or industrial environment. Practical experience with Lean, Six Sigma or similar methodologies; Green Belt would be advantageous. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to use data to make informed decisions. Experience working within a formal Quality Management System. Knowledge of FMEA, control plans, regulatory compliance and product testing. Strong communication and influencing skills, with the ability to work effectively with both technical and operational teams.
