    We’re looking for an Associate Lead Programmer to join our award winning team in Middlesbrough (UK), home to the beautiful North Yorkshire coastline and countryside. As an Associate Lead Programmer at Double Eleven you’ll be leading a skilled code team, developing robust systems, optimising performance and ensuring top-tier code quality,  all while fostering a collaborative and motivated environment. You’ll work closely with designers, artists and other disciplines, collaborating to bring ideas to life. You lead campaign development, player engagement, messaging, and creative content, ensuring each game is effectively positioned, supported, and communicated to its audience.Reporting into the Publishing Operations Manager, you play a key role in aligning marketing activity with publishing milestones, live service content cadence, and overall delivery planning. You lead a small cross-functional team (community, content creation) and collaborate closely with development teams, creative vendors, and platform partners to drive engagement and visibility across the full product lifecycle.You use marketing to support the full player lifecycle—from attracting new players to re-engaging lapsed ones and retaining existing communities through ongoing value and communication. Develop and lead integrated marketing campaigns across owned, earned, paid, and partner channels. Build and maintain a marketing calendar aligned with development milestones, content updates, and platform promotional opportunities. Plan and coordinate the creation and timely release of trailers, key art, store assets, announcements, and patch comms. Live Content & Engagement Planning Design and deliver campaigns that support new player acquisition, encourage returning players, and deepen engagement with the active community. Lead marketing efforts around live service content: seasonal events, timed challenges, and re-engagement campaigns. Ensure marketing and comms plans support sustainable live ops delivery and strong player engagement. Contribute to planning and evaluating in-game promotions from both a business and community perspective. Team Leadership Manage and support two Community Managers and one Content Creator, ensuring consistent tone, brand alignment, and delivery of high-quality player-facing content. Provide guidance on platform-specific content, community engagement, and escalation processes. Champion knowledge sharing, feedback loops, and continuous improvement across the team. Player Insight & Market Feedback Monitor community sentiment, player behaviour, and competitor activity to inform marketing and publishing decisions. Translate insights from player data, social listening, and market research into actionable recommendations. Share regular updates with the Publishing Operations Manager and development teams to support roadmap alignment and feature positioning. Partner & Vendor Coordination Collaborate with platform partners on store presence, launch readiness, and promotional planning. Brief and manage external vendors (creative, PR, media, influencers) to deliver effective assets and activations. Develop and nurture influencer partnerships — from micro to established creators — focused on authentic, long-term collaboration that supports audience growth and sustained player engagement. Design influencer campaigns that go beyond paid activations, leveraging creator insights and communities to co-create meaningful content and amplify player reach. Ensure all assets meet tone, quality, and platform expectations. Reactive Comms & Crisis Response Lead player-facing communication during outages, controversial updates, or emergent issues. Collaborate with operations and community teams on tone, messaging, and timing. Contribute to postmortems and embed learnings into future messaging and escalation strategies. What we’re looking for Significant experience in games marketing, ideally across both new launches and live service titles (live service experience is critical). Demonstrable track record of authoring and leading integrated campaigns and cross-functional planning. Demonstrable track record of aligning marketing activity to new activations, reengagement of lapsed players and retention of existing player bases Experience managing and developing community or content-focused team members. Confident in interpreting player behaviour and sentiment to guide strategy and communications.
