p Our client, an innovative, global solutions based organisation, now requires a strong Global Sustainability and ESG Manager /strong , who will be responsible for developing, implementing and overseeing the global ESG strategy, ensuring alignment across with regulatory requirements and corporate sustainability goals. /p p br /p p This role has hybrid/ remote working arrangements as well as an attractive compensation and benefits package including car allowance and other benefits. /p p br /p p strong u The Role: /u /strong /p p This role requires strong strategic thinking to shape long-term ESG direction aligned to business priorities, alongside exceptional communication skills to translate complex ESG data into clear, compelling narratives for stakeholders. /p p br /p p The role will also play a critical part in driving organisational transformation through effective change management, embedding ESG principles into business operations, culture, and decision-making processes. /p p br /p p This role will also lead the global sustainability programme, overseeing carbon accounting, ESG reporting, sustainability initiatives, external assessments, and continuous improvement across all regions. /p p br /p p As the strong Global Sustainability and ESG Manager /strong , you will be responsible for, but not limited to: /p p br /p ul li strong em ESG strategy and implementation: /em /strong developing objectives, KPIs and governance frameworks whilst translating strategy into actionable roadmaps and driving change management across regions and functions /li li strong em Data, reporting and disclosure: /em /strong ensuring close attention to detail and governance mindset in ESG data collection and reporting which can be translated into clear insights for executives, boards and investors /li li strong em Compliance and risk management: /em /strong applying a strong governance mindset to ensure regulatory compliance across all jurisdictions, whilst implementing robust controls, policies and audit readiness processes /li li strong em Stakeholder engagement: /em /strong utilising communication skills to engage internal and external stakeholders effectively whilst demonstrating leadership and collaboration by building strong partnerships across functions and geographies /li li strong em Culture and change management: /em /strong driving ESG integration through structured change management initiatives whilst fostering a culture of sustainability through leadership and collaboration /li li strong em Continuous improvement: /em /strong benchmarking ESG performance against industry peers whilst staying informed on emerging trends, standards, and best practices and identifying opportunities to enhance ESG maturity and impact /li /ul p br /p p Operating at a strategic level, as the strong Global Sustainability and ESG Manager /strong you will be required to devise, implement and influence at all levels. /p p br /p p strong u The Candidate: /u /strong /p p Ideally of graduate standard from within a business, sustainability or finance related field, candidates will also preferably have obtained their relevant professional ESG or sustainability certification such as GRI Professional Certification, IEMA, ISSP, CFA ESG or equivalent. /p p br /p p In addition, candidates for the strong Global Sustainability and ESG Manager /strong role strong /strong will be required to demonstrate that they have: /p p br /p ul li previous experience working in the same or similar ESG or sustainability role /li li the ability to align ESG with wider business priorities /li li a strong understanding of sustainability reporting principles and ESG frameworks /li li experience of driving organisational change management initiatives /li li previous experience of working on a pan-European / international business basis /li li the ability to be analytical, strategic and results driven with a strong commitment to success and excellence /li li outstanding organisational and presentation skills /li li high level attention to detail and governance mindset in reporting and compliance /li /ul p br /p p In addition, for this strong Global Sustainability and ESG Manager /strong role, candidates should also have: /p p br /p ul li excellent communication skills and the ability to be flexible in a challenging environment /li li the capability to be a hands-on type individual, who demonstrates initiative and a positive, professional attitude /li li the ability to work effectively both within a team but also under their own initiative, demonstrating they are a capable individual, who is used to multi-tasking and can prioritise their workload in order to meet exacting deadlines and deliver agreed outcomes /li li the capacity to be a strong, capable leader, with the presence to motivate and influence across all levels of the business /li /ul p br /p p Candidates should note that there will be international and regional travel with this role. /p
