    Position could be based anywhere in UK, preferably England. We offer remote / hybrid working mode.  DHL Legal Services offers all business partners worldwide solution-oriented legal advice. We provide comprehensive support in contracts, negotiations, and processes with customers and suppliers as well as in general litigation and commercial law matters. Job Purpose: As Senior Legal Counsel, you will provide commercially focused legal advice and support to the DHL Supply Chain business in the UK & Ireland, working closely with Directors, senior managers, and operational teams. You will play a key role in shaping, negotiating, and executing complex commercial contracts - helping to deliver sustainable, compliant, and commercially sound outcomes across a wide range of sectors. This is a senior position within the Legal Services team, part of the Global Business Services (GBS) division, offering a diverse and high-impact workload with genuine influence across the business.

    Location: it is a remote career opportunity requiring occasional travelling to business meetings Your tasks: Provide comprehensive legal support across DHL Supply Chain´s customer contracts and business operations within the UK & Ireland. Review, draft, and negotiate high-value commercial agreements ensuring commercial viability and compliance. Offer proactive legal and strategic advice on risk management, contract structures, and regulatory compliance. Collaborate closely with key internal stakeholders (Risk, Commercial, HR, Finance, CRE, and others) to ensure cohesive contract management. Deliver training to business teams on contracting best practices and legal updates. Contribute to departmental projects, know-how sessions, and process improvements. Support and mentor junior legal team members; line management responsibilities may form part of the role. Engage confidently with customers and senior business leaders to influence outcomes and protect business interests. Your profile: Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience/qualificationQualified UK Solicitor with a minimum of 6 years PQE.Suitable level of experience working as a commercial contracts lawyer Experience from logistics industry would be a great assetSkilled in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating complex contracts in a commercial, pragmatic manner.Excellent communication skills with the ability to advise and influence at senior management level.Proven ability to manage competing priorities, work autonomously, and deliver under pressure.Demonstrates leadership qualities and experience mentoring or managing legal professionals.Commercially minded, decisive, and solutions-oriented, with integrity and professionalism at the core of your work.     Role Purpose To provide commercial and pragmatic legal support to the DHL Supply Chain business unit operating in the UK and Ireland (“DSC”), working closely with internal stakeholders and liaising with international colleagues where required. Key Responsibilities Provide commercially focused legal advice to Directors, senior managers and operational teams across the DSC business. Provide training and guidance to the business on commercial contracting and relevant legal developments. Contribute to Legal team processes, knowledge sharing and continuous improvement, including contract approval and signature processes. Support DSC company secretarial matters as required. Work collaboratively within the GBS Legal Services UK & Ireland team, reporting to a Senior Commercial Lawyer. Undertake occasional travel to meet business needs. Your Profile UK qualified solicitor with 4+ years’ post-qualification experience. Strong commercial contracts experience gained in-house and/or private practice. Commercially minded, pragmatic and decisive, with the confidence to advise independently. Able to manage priorities effectively and perform well under time pressure. Demonstrates professionalism, integrity and sound judgment, with the gravitas to engage senior stakeholders. Experience in logistics or an in-house environment is desirable but not essential.     Corporate Real Estate (CRE) at DHL Group is responsible for more than 12,000 properties across all DHL business units worldwide. Sitting in the EMEA region, UKI has a portfolio of circa 325 predominantly industrial and warehouse properties managed by a small dedicated professional team. Corporate Real Estate - Together with our global colleagues, we offer excellent services along the property lifecycle Commercial, Construction and Facility Management for all DHL properties in a sustainable way. Job Purpose: As a key member of the UK & Ireland Construction Team, reporting to the Head of Construction, The Regional Construction Manager will deliver professional expertise on various elements of Real Estate, including; technical due diligence for acquisitions, dilapidations process for disposals, managing fit outs of up to £40m, acting as Tenant’s Agent for the business on new build’s. The Regional Construction Manager will be expected to successfully lead construction projects from inception through to completion liaising with our direct colleagues within the Commercial Real Estate team as well as our business colleagues within the wider DHL. Responsibilities: Management of construction projects from inception to completion incorporating effective negotiation and communication skills. Responsible for all on-site works relating to the construction project. Including management of Principle Contractor and liaison with other workstreams. Active participation in pre-construction phase to ensure all requirements of internal stakeholders are appropriately incorporated. Contract Management of projects to include stringent change control measures that align with DHL’s compliance principles. Act as Tenant’s Agents on new developments ensuring DHL’s requirements are delivered to internal standards. Adhering to the Dilapidations Protocol and RICS guidelines, negotiate Schedules of Dilapidations on behalf of DHL. Be able to interpret end user requirements and prepare specifications to suit the work taking into account DHL’s Global Building Standards. Provide cost estimates for elements of work to enable the business to strategize effectively. Demonstrate understanding of current Building Regulations and relevant legislation in order to advise business colleagues how to maintain best practices. Demonstrate understanding of CDM roles and responsibilities and ensure contractors, colleagues and visitors act accordingly. Undertake Building Surveying duties as required by the business including; Technical Due Diligence, Schedules of Condition, BRCA’s, Dilapidation Assessments etc . Advise business colleagues on solutions to achieve DHL’s Carbon Neutral targets on it’s portfolio. Your Profile: Building Surveying degree/background or similar Minimum of 3 years PQE (MRICS) Experience in the Project Management of commercial and industrial buildings. Strong experience in all Building Surveying roles and tasks including Dilapidations. A minimum of 3 years’ experience in relevant construction project management.
