D H Squire Consulting Engineers LLP are looking for a Mechanical or Electrical Design Engineer of various levels to join our expanding team at our Nottingham office. Established in 1968, D H Squire Consulting Engineers has been delivering successful projects working across sectors ranging from healthcare both public and private, local authorities, industrial and education providing a range of duties from RIBA stages 1-6.

Responsibilities
Delivering projects from feasibility to detailed design, tender, construction stages and client handover ranging from £100k to £5M.
Responsible for managing time and quality of own designs.
Undertaking design calculations using software and manual methods.
liaising with other members of staff to produce designs.
Preparing detailed design specifications and drawings for tender.
Development of trainee staff.
Working within a close-knit M&E Design team.
Engaging with clients on a day-to-day basis.
Co-ordinating with clients, architects, and project teams.
Undertaking site visits, monitoring on site contractor installations, surveying existing installations.
Good Knowledge of British and European standards, building regulations, HTM's (preferable but not essential)
Willing to attend on site meetings as and when required.
Qualifications
HNC/D or Degree
Minimum of 1+ years experience in a similar field
Experience of using Autocad, Revit, MEPWorx, Trimble (or similar)
Good communication skills (written and verbal)
Driving license or willingness to learn to drive.
