As Senior Multi-Skilled Shift Engineer this is a key leadership role within the engineering team of a food processing facility. This role is responsible for leading and coordinating maintenance activities across various shifts, ensuring the efficient operation of machinery and equipment, and providing technical expertise to resolve complex issues. The Senior Engineer plays a crucial role in maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and operational efficiency within the food production environment. Senior Shift Engineer The Rewards Competitive salary £46,000 - £50,000 Shift: Rotating Days/Nights 4 on, 4 off (6am-6pm / 6pm-6am) Senior Shift Engineer Requirements & Responsibilities Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Engineering or related field; professional engineering certification is a plus. Extensive experience in a maintenance leadership role within the food industry. Strong technical knowledge of food processing equipment, automation systems, and utilities. Proficiency in PLC programming, electrical troubleshooting, and mechanical systems. Familiarity with regulatory requirements, safety standards, and quality management systems.
