Our valued staff are our key asset.Our continuous success is based on having a loyal, motivated and welcoming team of people with a drive to succeed.Due to our continued growth we have an exciting opportunity for a Warehouse Operative to join our friendly team at our Central Distribution Warehouse in Kettering.Salary - £26,250 per Annum plus bonusType – Permanent, Full TimeWorking Pattern – Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pmDo you have:Good communication skills?An ability required to prioritise, multi-task, and manage your time effectively?The ability to accurately follow instructions?If so then we would like to hear from you!The ideal candidate must be a strong team player with good attention to detail and a great attitude to work.The main objectives of the role are to use material handling equipment (MHE) and bespoke machinery to pick, cut and load flooring in a safe and timely manner and to always ensure that the warehouse is secure, efficient and tidy at all times.Other key areas of responsibilities include:Ensuring that our health and safety standards are maintained at all timesPicking, cutting, loading and putting away stockAssisting with the loading and unloading of goods from vehiclesMonitoring goods entering and leaving the warehouseEnsuring all goods in the warehouse are labelled and stored safely, neatly and correctlyProcessing waste streams into recyclable and non-recyclable balesCarrying out housekeeping duties in relation to the warehouseEnsuring stock and warehouse securityKey Requirements:Be a strong team player with excellent communication skillsGreat organisation skills, with accuracy and attention to detailMust be willing to undertake training for a Fork Lift Truck certificateAbility to work efficiently and safely under tight deadlines
