Main duties of the job South Derbyshire CAMHS footprint covers Derby City, Amber Valley, Erewash, South Derbyshire & Ashbourne with 5 bases in Derby City, Long Eaton, Ripley, Rivermead and Swadlincote. Manage patients under the care of the CAMHS Crisis and Liaison pathway including risk assessment and management. Job overview The CAMHS Triage & Assessment team conduct all routine and priority and routine referrals made to CAMHS. The team offers robust assessment, risk screening, safety planning and care plan formulation in collaboration with CYP and their network. The post holder will manage all aspects of the daily functioning of CAMHS T&A including line managing the workforce employed to the service.  This role also has oversight of the CAMHS Youth Justice Nurses and the community advisor service.  The post holder will ensure the operational standards across the pathway, pertaining to the safe access, support and discharge of all children and young people within their team.  This will include the following: recruitment and selection of staff, induction, training, supervision and appraisals, sickness and other absence, contribute to disciplinary and grievance processes, personal and career development, the team’s workload, managing and overseeing waiting lists, allocation and individual caseload management.  Main duties of the job The post holder will be operationally and Clinically accountable for the direct delivery of the multi-professional clinical care service for the CAMHS T&A Team and will manage a range of staff from different professional and non-professional backgrounds.  To act as a role model to provide high standards of professionalism representing Derbyshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust in the exercise of their duties.  Nurture a culture of respect for others and an environment that values and is respectful of ethnicity, gender, culture, experience and individuality for all staff and people in our care including carers, creating a positive working environment.
