    We are looking for suitable, enthusiastic and very friendly people to join our bank of casuals to work in The Museums’ Cafes and at events. As a Casual Hospitality & Catering Assistant, you will be responsible for delivering an excellent guest experience for both a variety of events and in the Museums’ cafes. Duties will include everything from setting up events to serving food and drinks, as well as other general duties such as cleaning and adhering to health & hygiene. You will ideally have experience of working in a customer focused role, have bar experience and have knowledge of food hygiene regulations, but this is not a necessity. On the job training will be given for all areas of the role. You must have a friendly disposition and excellent customer services skills.     In the role of HGV Technician here’s an example of what you’ll be doing to make an impact:
    You will be part of a hardworking and dedicated team, to carry out the repair, maintenance and diagnostics of Heavy and Light Commercial Vehicles and associated equipment. This may include electrical and hydraulic systems along with some welding and fabrication work.
    There will be an opportunity to work overtime on Bank Holidays
    You must be willing to go on a call out standby rota covering out of hours breakdowns with a standard standby payment for being available to work fee and payment at time and a quarter for time spent on actual call outs.
    About You
    To be successful in this role, you’ll have...
    City and Guilds Level 1,2 and 3 or equivalent NVQ Standard in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance & Repair along with relevant, previous experience working on HGV vehicles.
    Experience of specialist vehicles such as RCV’s and Road Sweepers, this would be desirable but is not essential
    A full HGV licence with DCPC however, training can be provided to a successful candidate We are committed to the training and development of our teams.
