This is a varied and proactive role where you will be responsible for leading, developing and delivering the marketing strategy and initiatives that support Westcotts overall strategic objectives. Your responsibilities will include: Lead, shape, manage and deliver our marketing strategy and activityDeveloping, managing and implementing targeted direct marketing campaignsBuilding, managing and maintaining the firm's media profileSupporting and managing PR and marketing events, including budget seminars, agricultural shows, and other client engagement activitiesContinuing to build and strengthen relationships with professional networks and referrers, helping raise the firm's profile with other professional advisersOverseeing the development of marketing and promotional materials, including brochures, leaflets, newsletters, and other branded communicationsWorking with Partners and teams across the firm to help identify target clients and potential opportunitiesSupporting the generation of new business leads, including assisting with initial meetings and marketing initiativesMarketing team management including communication and appraisalsHelping identify new service opportunities, sectors, and markets where the firm can expand its offeringIdentify opportunities within the existing client base and professional network to promote additional servicesWork collaboratively with Partners, Directors, and colleagues across offices to ensure marketing activity supports firmwide objectivesMonitor the success of marketing campaigns and initiatives, helping ensure activities deliver value and support the firm's growthSpending time in each of our offices, building relationships with partners and team and supporting local marketing activity Ideally (although not essential), you'll have the following experience, qualifications, skills and attributes: – Previous experience in a marketing leadership role is essential, ideally within a professional services environmentExperience leading marketing campaigns, PR activity, and eventsStudying towards, or qualified with, the Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM), or a degree in Marketing or related subject is desirablePersuasive, influential and proactive able to effectively gain buy-in from stakeholders in a timely mannerAccountable, outgoing and socially confident used to taking ownership of initiatives and confidently leading marketing activity from concept through to deliveryHighly collaborative, visible and an excellent communicator used to regularly engaging with teams across multi-sites, attending company events and held in high regard by fellow team membersPositive, engaging and innovativeAdaptable, highly organised and conscientious always ensuring projects are delivered effectively and to a high standardComfortable working at pace, resilient and emotionally composed, maintaining professionalism and focus in a fast-paced environmentThe ability to commute regularly to all our offices across the Southwest and attend events when needed is essential
