The Senior Soft Goods Designer will be an imaginative professional with a strong grasp of aesthetics, functionality, and contemporary style. You will need the ability to spot global design trends, turn them into compelling product concepts, and guide these ideas from initial sketches through to final specifications. Senior Soft Goods Main Responsibilities: Lead the end-to-end design process for nursery products, from ideation to production Translate market trends and consumer insights into visual stories, mood boards, and product direction Perform and analyse competitive and consumer research to inform design strategy Design both soft and hard goods in close collaboration with engineering, sourcing, and marketing teams Develop comprehensive concept illustrations, colour schemes, material specifications, and tech packs using Illustrator and Photoshop Clearly present design ideas and final concepts to internal stakeholders and leadership teams Support and guide junior designers, encouraging a culture of innovation and exploration Combine creativity with commercial strategy to ensure designs align with brand goals, budgets, and timelines Qualifications & Skills: A minimum of 5 years’ professional design experience, preferably in nursery, lifestyle, fashion, or soft goods Demonstrated experience leading product design from concept through to final output Familiarity with stroller, car seat, or other consumer product design is a strong advantage Strong skills in trend forecasting and an eye for seasonal direction Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator and Photoshop); experience with 3D design tools is a plus Deep understanding of CMF (Colour, Material, Finish) and how to apply insights to product development Proven ability to work cross-functionally with teams across product development, sourcing, and marketing Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to clearly explain design thinking Highly organized, with strong attention to detail and the ability to juggle multiple priorities Passionate about creating stylish, functional, and user-centred products Read Less
