The Product Developer will work with internal stakeholders, manufacturers and customers to exceed expectations across product quality, sustainability, packaging, compliance, and end user performance. The Product Developer – Home Textiles Responsibilities; Work closely with Design, Development, and Customer Account teams during pre-production handover meetings, offering input to confirm that chosen products meet requirements for large-scale manufacture, performance, presentation, and customer expectations. Oversee and chair the weekly PDS meetings. Prepare and release accurate product, image, and outer-packaging specifications on schedule, distributing them to overseas suppliers and internal e-commerce teams through the PIM system. This includes creating packaging templates in Illustrator and requires strong administrative and organisational ability. Update, monitor, and manage the relevant stages of the critical path, ensuring product launches remain on track. This involves analysing timelines, following up with suppliers on fabrics, product samples, and packaging approvals, and taking proactive action where delays appear. Take an active role in the sample approval process, assessing strike-offs, bulk fabrics, packaging proofs, test and inspection documents, and gold-seal samples to confirm they meet both internal standards and customer requirements. Hold suppliers accountable for meeting sampling, testing, and inspection deadlines, and maintain KPIs such as on-time submissions and first-time accuracy. Work Order Coordination – Generate and manage work orders, keeping the tracking spreadsheet up to date for clear progress monitoring.
