In This Role, You Will:
As a Senior Technical Consultant, you will play a key role in delivering seamless integration solutions for Cvent’s clients. Your responsibilities will include:
Lead integration projects from kickoff to deployment, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to quality standards.Convert customer business goals into solution architecture, detailed technical specifications, sequence/flow diagrams, and high-quality documentation.Guide customers through the integration lifecycle—including discovery, design, deployment, and support—using Cvent APIs, webhooks, and integration tools.Provide technical guidance and hands-on troubleshooting for integration issues and escalations.Serve as a trusted advisor to executive and technical stakeholders; set expectations, communicate status and risk, and influence decisions with clear recommendations.Deliver integration demos, training, and documentation for clients and internal teams.Coach and mentor junior team members, establish best practices and providing direct feedback to elevate delivery quality.Partner with Product to escalate defects, advocate for enhancements, and close the loop with clients.Stay current on Cvent’s evolving products, services, and integration capabilities, proactively sharing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
Here's What You Need:
To excel as a Technical Consultant, candidates should have the following qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent professional experience.5+ years in professional services, solutions consulting, or sales engineering within B2B software.5+ years leading strategic projects end to with a track record of on-time, within-scope, quality outcomes.Industry experience in Life Sciences, Technology, and/or Financial Services, with understanding of common business needs and constraints.Strong command of project management and business analysis practices; fluent with modern PM tooling (e.g., Smartsheet, Asana, or Wrike).Highly organized, with the ability to manage project plans across multiple complex initiatives.Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, including executive-ready status, risk, and recommendation updates.Working knowledge of REST APIs, JSON, and webhooks.Hands-on experience with integration middleware and API testing tools such as Bruno and curl.Formal project management training or certification (e.g., PMP) is an asset.We are not able to offer sponsorship for this positionPhysical Demands
