CSS Recruitment & Training are currently looking for a Night Shift Supervisor to join one of our clients growing teams based in Colchester, Essex.Working HoursMonday - Thursday6pm - 6amAbout The RoleA hour in total throughout the evening, 30 minutes paid, 30 minutes unpaid.22 days (inclusive of bank holidays)There is availability to do an extra shift on the day shift at the weekends, working 7am – 2pm – paid at overtime rateAll PPE and face coverings will be provided if requiredResponsibilities To IncludeEnsuring the smooth running of production on the shop floorCo-ordinating line operations within the packhouseEnsure all staff have the correct training for their job roleDaily cleaning and hygiene standards to be maintainedReport production performance to the Packhouse ManagerEnsure all documentation is completed correctly and full details recorded, advise if more training is requiredDocumentation reviewsCompetency reviewsEnsure quality assurance is maintained throughout the process to meet customer standardsAssist in all aspects on shop floor levelBe part of a team working to a schedule to ensure GMP'S are being followedMaintain open communication with all departmentsIdentify and recommend potentials for promotionAttend and participate fully in meetingsRecommend areas of improvementPerform all duties as required consistent with training, authority and experienceWork in a safe way being aware of health & safetyProduction projects - working with a team to create or implement new systems/ways of working & identifying areas of improvementBe available to assist in all types of auditsAny reasonable task requested by managementPay Rate£17.10 - £21.37 per hour
