    Criterion Capital is seeking an experienced MEP Design
    Director to lead our building services function across a diverse portfolio
    including residential developments, commercial-to-residential conversions,
    and hotel refurbishments. This senior role requires strong technical
    expertise, leadership, and the ability to deliver coordinated, cost-effective
    and energy-efficient MEP solutions tailored to high-density living and
    operational hotel environments.

    Key Responsibilities


    Lead
    and develop the MEP design team; oversee project coordination and quality.
    Deliver
    concept through detailed MEP designs for residential and hotel projects,
    ensuring regulatory compliance and technical excellence.
    Conduct
    surveys, due diligence, and technical assessments of existing
    installations.
    Manage
    feasibility studies, MEP cost planning, procurement support and financial
    performance.
    Oversee
    construction monitoring and installation sign-off on live projects.
    Build
    strong relationships with clients, hotel operators, consultants and
    contractors; support business development.
    Ensure
    robust risk management, performance monitoring, and adherence to Criterion
    Capital’s delivery processes.
    Mentor
    junior engineers and contribute to technical papers and industry
    engagement.


    Requirements


    BSc/BEng
    in a relevant engineering discipline; Chartered Engineer status preferred.
    Significant
    MEP design experience across residential and/or hotel sectors.
    Strong
    knowledge of UK regulations, BS standards, health & safety, and
    industry best practice.
    Commercially
    aware, with experience in financial management and procurement.
    Proven
    leadership, team development, and client-facing skills.
    Consulting
    or construction background desirable.

    London. As part of our supply chain strategy,
    you’ll identify risks and opportunities, recommend improvements to the Head of
    Procurement, and collaborate with internal teams and external partners to keep

    Key Responsibilities ·       Manage procurement from budget stage through to completion for multiple

    recruiting experienced Plumbers for a major office-to-hotel conversion project
    in Central London. You’ll join the site M&E team responsible for delivering
    high-quality installation work across guest rooms, plant areas, risers, and
    back-of-house facilities.

    Duties


    1st & 2nd fix plumbing installations
    Pipework installation (copper, plastic, press-fit systems)
    Bathroom/shower room install works
    Hot & cold water services, soil & waste systems
    Assisting with testing/commissioning where required
    Working from drawings and coordinating with other trades


    Requirements


    CSCS Card (Plumbing/Mechanical)
    NVQ Level 2/3 or equivalent in Plumbing/Mechanical Installation
    Strong commercial project experience (hotel, office, or residential)
    Ability to read drawings and work independently
    Right to work in the UK


    Desirable: IPAF, PASMA, Asbestos Awareness,

    Duties


    Installation of rectangular & spiral ductwork
    Fitting brackets, supports, and hangers
    Grilles, diffusers & fan coil connections
    Working from drawings and coordinating with AC/plumbing teams
    Ensuring work meets site QA and H&S standards


    Requirements


    CSCS Card (HVAC/Mechanical)
    Proven experience as a Duct Fitter on commercial projects
    Ability to read drawings
    Own tools and PPE
    Right to work in the UK
