Please note that we are happy for this role to be located in Dublin, Ireland or London, England. What’s the job? Reporting our Senior Legal Counsel, you’ll be responsible for the delivery of high-quality, timely, and cost-effective legal advice to our Irish business. This position will include drafting and negotiation (from NDAs through to complex commercial agreements); and providing pragmatic commercial legal advice to facilitate the achievement of business objectives within the confines of the law. You’ll be responsible for the delivery of high-quality, timely, and cost-effective legal services to meet the business's strategic and operational needs coordinate the delivery of legal services to the businesses in the UK and Europe using external resources and WTP in Europe You’ll provide ‘solutions-orientated’ commercial advice to the business You’ll draft and negotiate all client and supplier contracts for the business units in the UK and Europe You’ll manage litigation matters for business units in the UK and Europe You’ll coordinate the legal and governance integration of the new Irish business into the wider group You’ll advise the business units on UK, EEA and non-EEA state regulations governing the sale and distribution of general insurance product What are we looking for? You'll have both private practice and in-house legal experience You’ll have a background in financial services, and understand the regulatory requirements of the industry You’ll have relevant tertiary qualifications in Law with a current practising certificate and up-to-date knowledge of EU insurance law You'll have strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to work with a variety of stakeholders You’ll have a current practicing certificate in the UK or Ireland You’ll have prior experience working in Ireland and a comprehensive understanding of Irish legislation Why choose us? Our Registered Paramedics and Nurses work fast and focused in difficult situations, offering expert medical advice and services to travellers all over the world, right round the clock. With their expert Emergency or Critical Care know how, our team are committed to care for our customers in their time of need. Resilient, and empathetic, they build strong relationships and deliver accurate, on-time service in high-stakes situations. You’ll assess the nature of emergency medical situations and provide appropriate guidance and instructions to travellers around the world You’ll make time sensitive medical decisions for travellers, utilising your clinical expertise to triage their emergency You’ll respond to emergency calls and provide immediate telephonic medical assistance to travellers You’ll manage emergency air ambulance evacuations with third party providers, document all interactions accurately and promptly You’ll participate in ongoing training and educational programs to enhance your clinical skills and stay up to date with best practice standards You’ll mentor and support junior staff members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and growth You’ll do all of this from the comfort of our Uxbridge-based command centre 2 days per week and 2 days from your home (after an initial training period) What are we looking for? What’s the job? •      You’ll support the designated delivery team in the end-to-end implementation process from planning through to post-launch, following Cover-More Europe’s deal implementation process •      You’ll have strong project leadership skills to manage the implementation and delivery of the business transition, whilst also establishing document control, maintaining project files, reporting status updates, risks and developments to the migration team •      You’ll work closely with the Project Sponsor, Business Delivery Manager and individual project work stream owners, as well as other internal and external stakeholders, to ensure that all project deliverables are met on time and within budget •      You’ll create the Project Plan, set and manage the weekly external and internal calls, provide call summaries and progress reports, flag project risks and suggest suitable mitigations •      You’ll ensure all SLAs are achieved or clearly communicated in appropriate timeframes •      You’ll cultivate relationships with external vendors, business partners, project sponsors and stakeholders as appropriate What are we looking for? •      You’ll have experience in onboarding partners and implementing complex international deals in a regulated industry, ideally in the insurance industry •      You’ll have a strong understanding of the insurance deal lifecycle and the operating principles of an MGA •      You’ll possess proven strong project management skills (Prince 2 or Agile methodologies preferred) and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously •      You’ll have stakeholder management experience, with the ability to establish early credibility, manage stakeholder expectations •      You’ll have the ability to influence and persuade others towards a common goal, using effective communication and negotiation skills Why choose us? You’ll have proven previous account management experience. You’ll possess strong attention to detail and communication skills in a written, phone, and face-to-face capacity. You’ll be highly collaborative and self-motivated. You’ll have the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and remain extremely organized.
