    Location: Sheffield – travel to the office required

    Requirements
    What will you be responsible for?
    As a Senior Environmental Advisor, you'll be working within the Social Value team, supporting them in delivering sustainability outcomes for key clients during both the pre construction and construction phases.
    Your day to day will include:
    Supporting projects in pre-construction to ensure all required documentation and support is in place for the successful delivery of sustainability outcomes.
    Conducting environmental inspections and audits
    Reporting and investigating environmental incidents and developing learning outcomes
    Collating and preparing sustainability metrics to report progress against agreed project objectives and targets
    Chairing meetings within the project team and supply chain to drive the sustainability agenda

    What are we looking for?
    This role of Senior Environmental Advisor is great for you if:
    You are PIEMA or working towards, with incident management training and experience managing incidents independently
    You have knowledge of construction sustainability schemes such as BREEAM, CEEQUAL, LEED, WELL, and experience with environmental management systems
    You are passionate about sustainability, with strong data/statistical analysis, reporting and critical thinking skills, and the ability to travel to and between sites and be on site 3 days a week.

    The company are recruiting for a Senior Estimator to join/lead the Southern team, particularly focused in London and reporting to the Head of Preconstruction / Snr Preconstruction Manager. With a diverse portfolio of projects shortly coming online, we are looking for an individual who has passion for estimating & preconstruction activities whilst also being able to work as part of a close-knit team. As Snr. Estimator, you’ll be responsible for producing estimates from BQ’s and Drawings & Specifications, under both traditional and design & build contracts.

    Working for a diverse client base and frameworks you will be involved in contract values ranging from £1m – £20m within a mixture of both construction & refurbishment schemes. Building strong relationships and working client facing within collaborative public framework environments in which we operate is essential.     Analysing supply chain enquiries for tender
    Producing tender risk information
    Reporting for tender adjudication

    Managing client pre-construction phase programme expectations
    Delivering value engineering optioneering & buildability
    Managing and reporting tender stage cost controls
    Working within a client collaborative team environment
    Be proactive in maintaining relationships with project team, stakeholders, and functional management and work as a collaborative member of the team, facilitating the sharing of knowledge and best practice to the wider business.
    Providing support to the estimating and preconstruction team, assisting junior estimator(s), reporting upstream, including for all line management as required.
