£12.71 per hourWe are currently seeking reliable and hardworking individuals to join our team as Temporary Cleaning Assistants to support the preparation and upkeep of holiday accommodations in the Beccles area.This is a hands-on role where attention to detail and a commitment to high standards are essential. Full training will be provided, making this a great opportunity for those looking to gain experience or take on flexible temporary work.Key Responsibilities
You will assist in maintaining a high standard of cleanliness across all areas of the holiday properties, including barns, lounges, kitchens, hallways, bathrooms, bedrooms, cupboards, and patio areas.General cleaning duties include:
Vacuuming carpets and mopping tiled floorsDusting and polishing all surfaces, including mirrorsRemoving cobwebs, especially from ceilings and beamsCleaning windows and doors, removing marks and fingerprintsEmptying bins and replacing linersChecking and reporting any maintenance issues or damageEnsuring all light bulbs are workingRemoving any guest belongings (including checking under beds and inside drawers)
Additional duties (room-specific) may include:
Vacuuming under sofa cushionsWatering plants and removing dead flowersUnloading dishwashers and checking for leftover itemsCleaning kitchen surfaces and appliances (oven, hob, fridge, microwave, etc.)Checking kitchenware for cleanliness and conditionDe-scaling kettles and cleaning sink areasThorough cleaning of bathrooms (showers, baths, toilets, basins, and fittings)Restocking essential supplies such as toilet paper and soapEnsuring facilities (e.g. toilet flush systems) are fully functionalStripping and making beds according to instructionsChecking and replacing mattress and pillow protectors as neededTidying and cleaning curtains, blinds, and surfacesEnsuring windows are clean and properly closedChecking wardrobes and hanger availabilityKeeping cleaning equipment organised and in good working order
